Golden Earring is best known internationally for their hit singles “Radar Love” (1973), “Twilight Zone” (1982), and “When the Lady Smiles” (1984). Their music style blends rock, hard rock, and progressive rock, with influences from psychedelic rock in their early years. The band’s most enduring lineup included Barry Hay (vocals, guitar, flute), George Kooymans (guitar, vocals), Rinus Gerritsen (bass, keyboards), and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums).
