"We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" (released in the United Kingdom as "We Don't Have To...") is American R&B vocalist Jermaine Stewart's first of three singles from 1986. The song was included on his second album Frantic Romantic, released that same year. "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" remains Stewart's biggest commercial success in both America and Europe. The song acquired a great deal of success after being used on the hit 1980s television show Miami Vice and reached number 2 on the UK and Canadian charts, as well number 5 in the United States.

"Toy Soldiers" is a song by American singer Martika appearing on her 1988 eponymous debut album and released in the United States as the second single from it in May 1989. It was a number-one Billboard Hot 100 hit for two weeks in the summer of 1989. An edited version of the song is included in the imported version of the album Toy Soldiers: The Best of Martika.

Chico DeBarge is the younger brother of the family band, DeBarge. He was ot a member of the band, but had his own solo career. In 1986, he released his self-titled debut album, ad had his lone top-40 hit off that album, called “Talk to Me”. It peaked at #21 on February 21, 1987. Before Chico’s career could really take off, he was arrested on drug conspiracy charges. He didn’t get out of prison until 1994. After his release from prison, he started his music career back up. He has been to rehab, and continues to record and perform today. It is possible for him to score another top-40 song. But, in the meantime, let’s Return to the ’80s, and listen to his hit song “Talk to Me”:

Reaching No. 5 in the U.S. in 1996. It seemed this song was all The Verve Pipe had to offer, though, as the rest of their music consisted of safe, generic lite-rock that wanted to be radio singles but lacked the solid hooks. The band recently churned out a “family-friendly” children’s album.

It’s still kind of puzzling that Baz Luhrmann, predominantly a director and screenwriter known for films like Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet, briefly crossed over into the music industry, because he’s not a musician in any respect. His highly successful single “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)” is a spoken word piece where Luhrmann recites the poem “Wear Sunscreen” by journalist Mary Schmich (not Kurt Vonnegut, as it was so widely believed), which she wrote as a theoretical speech to a graduating class, over bright, hopeful and unobtrusive music that gives the inspirational, clever lyrics ample space to shine.

My very first One Hit Wonder is HOKU Another Dumb Blonde.. "Another Dumb Blonde" is the debut single from American singer Hoku. It was originally featured on the soundtrack to the 2000 Nickelodeon theatrical film Snow Day, and was released as a single from the soundtrack on January 18, 2000 by Geffen Records and Interscope Records. It was later featured on her eponymous debut album.

I have been sitting on this story for a while. But finally decided to share it with you. A True story about one haunting on the base. The Carleton House is a pretty historic home. Whish has been many things throught out it's own history.Carleton House is the oldest building on the base. It was originally constructed as the post hospital back in 1880 and was named for Brig. General James H. Carleton, the famous leader of the “California Column” during the Civil War. It remained a hospital for a few years and then was turned into housing quarters for officers, an officer’s mess, post headquarters, a cafe, and then a schoolhouse. Between 1947 and 1951, when the fort was briefly given back to the state of Arizona, Carleton House was used as a vacation retreat by Governors Sidney P. Osborn and Dan E. Garvey. In more recent years, is has been the residence of the hospital commander or other officers assigned to the base.

My chat with my amazing friend Monica durazo. She took on the New York Marathon and she did quite well. I'm so proud of her and her transformation into a fitness cover story. I've known Monica since she was 13.. just a kid. But as you can tell she is a grown beautiful woman with a beautiful daughter to boot. Her mother is also a competition bodybuilder beautiful as well. I'll be interviewing her tomorrow morning on my show about her trail to the marathon and what she plans on doing next. To be honest I see her winning the New York Marathon.
