In keeping with Santa Monica College's 21st century emphasis of developing student awareness of the need to become global citizens, the "Global Connections" lectures brings together an eclectic array of speakers from many areas of global concerns such as environmental impact, cultural diversity, world heritage preservation, and global economics.
