Episode 12: FAST and Gamblers Agility Classes, Not For New Handlers ** I love FAST and Gamblers and all the games classes in agility, but not for my new handlers/students starting to trial for the very first time. Find out more about the games classes and why I think new handlers should avoid them, even if their friends tell them they are good classes to start in.

Episode 3: Get Over It ** How do you deal with a disappointing run, either in practice, at class or at a trial? Dog agility does not always go the way we want it to go, you need skills or strategies to help keep you and your dog in the game. #dogagility #agilitypodcast #dogtraining Music by: www.bensound.com

Welcome to the Go-Get-'Em Agility podcast. Join us as we discuss various topics about the sport of dog agility. ** Episode 1: Green Dogs, Green Handlers ** In the sport of dog agility, unlike horses, most new handlers train their green dogs right from the beginning. Follow Margaret and Emma as we discuss the pros and cons of being a green handler with a green dog. #dogpodcast #dogagility # dogtraining ** Music by: www.bensound.com
Episode 71: Biggest Bang for Your Buck ** 70% to 30% - that is the percentage I think skills building should be to course work maybe even 80% to 20%. You'll get more bang for your buck with skills training than you will with course work. Course work shows you where your skills training is good and where it is needing more work, but it doesn't "train" the dog.
Epidsode 70: WTD Dog Push-ups vs Up and Down Game ** Learn the powerful difference between a dog push-up and the up and down game. Master the up and down game to gain more focus and with yourself and your dog.
Episode 69: Feeling Overwhelmed ** Want to know how I get through feeling overwhelmed? Take a listen.
Episode 68: WTD Between a Run By and Send Jump

Breeder: Kristin Wolter - Resolution's Sport Dogs
Dam: Nova
Sire: Tonx (Jessie Listar-Guest owner)
Episode 66: Leave It and Not Yet - What's the Difference? ** Big, big, huge difference in my opinion and in my training.
Leave it = Forever
Not yet = 30, 40, 50 seconds or less
Leave it = Poisonous, dangerous, disgusting
Not yet = Reward food or toy
Episode 65: Organizations - What's the Difference?
There are lots of agility organizations to trial in, here are a just a few of the differences between them.
Episode 64: Playing It Safe ** Playing it safe versus always trying for correct may leave you never knowing how much your dog actually knows. Take a chance and go for more distance, more distraction, more duration...you never know, your dog just may be able to handle it and offer you a new level of training. But you'll never know if you don't try. Give it a try, even at the risk of your dog being incorrect. P.S. Pay for effort.
Episode 63: Agility and Jumping - What's the Difference?
** Starting a mini series called What's the Difference where I talk about the difference between random agility topics that jump into my head or students have asked me.
Episode 62: What Top Handlers Cultivate
** Top Handlers don't have a secret that makes them great, they have a relationship with their dog, a working understanding of trust and safety. And so can you!
In light of the great write up by Iwona Golab, I am republishing Episode 8 on relationship building. There is more and maybe I'll put another podcast together, but I think this is a good episode to revisit.
Episode 61: End Routines ** Dogs thrive on routines and making an end routine noteworthy will help strengthen your dog's feelings toward the hard work and the reward they need and want for their hard work. Want more, reward more, strategically with connection and duration.
Episode 60: Putting It All Together ** The final podcast in Margaret's Beginning Agility Foundation Workbook series.
Episode 59: Podcast on Podcasts **Join me as I list out my favorite podcasts.
