I’m back from vacation so that means we’re back on the river. It’s a stretch to call today’s river, a river, but that’s what the psalmist and the prophet Ezekiel do, so I’m siding with them. Today, we’re at the Jordan River with a foreign army general named Naaman seeking healing for his leprosy. I love this story. God often moves in mysterious ways, but in this story God is pretty straightforward about how Naaman will find healing, and like us he doesn’t really know what to do with that.
