Toni Breidinger joined us on the show this week. As one of the young women making waves in NASCAR we wanted to hear her story and learn more about her passion for racing. Mario Andretti joins the show to talk an illustrious career in Auto Racing. We dive into the mentality, lifestyle, family, and advice that spurred Mario to be the Daytona 500, Indianapolis 500, 4x IndyCar Champ, F1 World Champion and Driver of the 20th Century (to name a few) that we all know today. It began humbly in Italy, flourished through hard work and perseverance, and left a lasting impression for generations of motorsports enthusiasts. This episode is dedicated to Mario's twin brother Aldo Andretti (1940-2020), his nephew John Andretti (1963-2020), his sister Anna Maria Andretti Burley (1934-2018), and his loving wife Dee Ann Andretti (1961-2018), in addition to the entire Andretti family for their contributions to the world of auto racing.
Andy Papathanassiou joined the show this week to talk pit stops, Over The Wall Thinking, and shared a few stories from his illustrious NASCAR career that spanned 28+ years. Clay Rogers, born in Kannapolis and moved to Mooresville as a boy, is one of the few people in racing who you will find originated from the area. He sat down in a go-kart and hasn't stepped away from racing since. Winning 5 Championships in the Pro Cup Series and securing a win at the enviable Snowball Derby in 2006, Clay left his mark on the sport as a driver. Since running around with Rodney Childers and a stint in Matt Kenseth's old ride, he has settled into his spot helping young drivers make their NASCAR dreams come true. Working at DGR Racing and developing the next generation, Clay Rogers is a homegrown champion passing on a legacy of success to keep the sport we know and love alive. In the episode we also bring back name that driver, and we give a rundown of notable news that has come through over the past week.

What a season! COVID-19 changed the landscape of NASCAR. We saw weekday racing, double headers, new tracks for the all-star race...almost everything was unprecedented. In this final episode of the NASCAR season we take a look back on our favorite parts of the racing season, we reflect on the relationships we have built and the fun we have had doing this podcast, and we take a look at 2021 and what the future holds for NASCAR and the podcast.
