Have you ever replayed a favorite game of yours, and just thought to yourself, “I miss when games were designed this well”. Well us too! Maybe we are showing our age, but maybe, JUST MAYBE, some games have become too complex and input heavy, when simpler games with focus on other pieces had our attention for long spans of time. So what's been going on in the development of games, why do they feel like they need to push harder and complicate things more? We don’t know for sure, but we can sure make a wild guess, and piss all over the games we think that have gone too far. We are of course talking about the oddly carefree, often oblivious and ever hungry Goku and the world of Dragonball.The newest game Sparking Zero has taken hold of many gamers, and there is a new show on the horizon. So fire up the Yama-cha bike, put the ice tray back in the Frieza, pour yourself a Chi-Chi or crack a Beerus and get ready for another episode where we somehow keep finding new ways to get better and better at what we do, with no real limitation or end in sight.

Playstation has found its new prospective mascot, and it is the DualSense utilizing and stylishly dressed mini robot that believes in the power of nostalgia. This is profoundly expressed in the newest Astro Bot game that came out last month, as well as the demonstration of the controllers and system of the PS4/PS5. So get your memory card ready, wrap up your controller cords, wipe off the disc and brush off the dust off old faithful as we take a trip down memory lane and the future this week with Astro Bot.

Imagine Gears of War, World War Z and Dead Space had a collective baby and it was named after one of the most infamous table top companies of all time. Did you just imagine Space Marine 2? We just got absolutely spoiled and had the summer showcase of games from the major players and there are some titles that have us pretty excited to play some games in late 2024 and into 2025. So let's break down the top of our lists of things to play from the Playstation State of Play, Xbox Showcase, Nintendo Direct and Summer Game Fest. Like we said lots has been released over the last month, so let's see if we have the same lineup of games to play as you, or if we missed anything that we should take a second look at!

He is none other than the creator of the esteemed manga and anime Dragonball. That isn't all that he developed in his time, as we have been graced by a new rendition of his work on Disney+ and in video game format. That title is none other than Sandland! The show has Bred some life into the animated drought of our lives, celebrating some more beloved creations and moments, Ann showed what a ragtag bunch of Beelze-buds can accomplish with a little perseverance and demonic powers. We got the Peanut Butter and they got the King Jam, let's make a Sand-wich and get this party started.
