It is not always easy to balance the need for compassion to the moms with the necessity of speaking convicting truth. That balance is essential to optimize the likelihood the women will come talk with us and consider what we have to say, BUT ALSO convict them not to take the innocent life of their child. Oftentimes, we err on one side or the other of these two vital components to effective sidewalk counseling. In this podcast, we offer suggestions to help make our outreach loving but convincing.
October: Using Your Personal Testimony On The Sidewalk
Personal testimony is a powerful thing to share at abortion centers. Our personal story of abortion or of choosing life in spite of adversity can sway a woman to reconsider taking her own child’s life. However, there are optimal times and ways to share personal testimony to full advantage. In this podcast, we explore how to use personal testimony effectively on the sidewalks.

We are called to use His Word wisely and to be prepared to use it with discernment and at the appropriate time. This podcast explores the major general topics or areas that we will encounter in counseling on the sidewalks as well as many suggested scriptures in each area. The accompanying article is a great tool to help you find scripture to address common sidewalk issues.

Addressing the disproportionate number of minorities being killed in abortions is not one of our three key talking points we have found to be effective. However, we cannot be unaware of the truth of this sad fact. Should we address this while ministering on the sidewalk, and if so, how can we do so effectively? This podcast explores the issue of how to deal with racial tension on the sidewalk of abortion centers.

In this episode, Daniel and Vicky give a gentle rebuke along with encouragement. Many of us have grown disheartened with apparent church apathy regarding abortion. We ask, “Where is the church?” And grow discouraged. In this podcast, we exhort all of us not to ask this downer question, and focus on the reality that the church is very active in many areas of transforming souls and promoting the welfare of people and communities worldwide. I hope this helps us focus on the truth that WE are the church, and WE individually should be doing all God has called us to do!

This episode is an inspiring time of relating true stories of when the Holy Spirit intercedes powerfully while we are ministering on the sidewalks of the abortion centers. His presence is sometimes miraculous words He brings to us, sometimes miraculous protection, sometimes gentle rebuking to guide us from self-righteousness to God-righteousness. We need to be prepared in season and out of season with biblical truth as 2 Timothy 4:2 reminds us. It is sometimes daunting to know what scripture best fits the issue you may face as you minister to abortion-determined women. Some people shrink back from using scripture at all. In this episode, we explore the critical necessity for scripture to break through that lead to abortion. We give practical advice on how to use the Bible effectively in dealing with common issues you may face.

In this episode, we offer some ideas for understanding the main issues transgender people face as well as some practical suggestions on how to offer help to them while on the sidewalk.

In sidewalk outreach, we often hear the pro-abortion people taunting us with this question: “Don’t you have better ways to spend your time?” Sometimes, the struggle and lack of visible fruit are so significant that we even ask ourselves this question. In this episode, we answer this question with insights from Habakkuk. This passage can guide us in redirecting our focus when faced with discouragement and disappointment as we struggle to serve God well.

Vicky and I have been doing a lot of traveling lately so we're re-running a few episodes. We hope this one is a blessing to you.
As Christians, we are in a spiritual battle but that battle is at its fiercest at the abortion centers where innocent lives are destroyed. God has given us spiritual armor to help us in this intense battle. Join me as I teach through Ephesians 6:10-17 and how to put on the armor of God.
This is a rerun episode from 2020. An oldie but goodie.

oh no honey. pro-life yet show no concern about the children in foster care, the children in cages, and the children with unfit guardianship. sounds more like pro control. this is 2020 you can't decide what anyone does with their own body. me diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and bpd plan to never have a child and would choose abortion bc I know I'm an unfit mother. I wouldn't leave a child in foster care moving from broken home to broken home. never knowing what true love feels like causing them to have the same trauma I went through. the end.
