After the resurrection Jesus authorizes His disciples (including us) to continue His work and message of the Kingdom. We rule and reign within now, in the earth, proclaiming the gospel, healing the sick, casting out devils and speaking with new tongues. As new creatures in Christ, co-resurrected with Christ, He has given us authority to have dominion in the earth.
After the resurrection Jesus appeared to two disciples in Luke 24. He walks the 7 mile journey with them, revealing himself to them, beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. This happened AFTER the resurrection.
