So when we say "I am my own worst enemy" we're actually closer to the mark than we realise. Fascinating stuff!

Amen! 👍 Trials are not proof of God's anger with you, but an opportunity to experience His presence WITHIN those trials.

As much as the church gets its share of criticism, there are also reasons to be thankful for its presence in our world today. The church is never a building, but the gathering of people unified in heart, body and soul.

My dad listed to GTY everyday, and lived to honor our Father. He made 100s of rocks, painted and wrote the word of God on them and on the back was GTY.ORG. He said if even one person finds one and believes then I will do this until I pass,, and which he did. He past at the age of 64 on February 22 2020 this was the last Series of sermons he listened to. We played this for him on his last day of life in hospice. And even though he could not talk and did not open his eyes I know the word of God brought him much comfort. I could see it in his face. God is amazing! he had went to hospice a week before and they said it was only a matter of days or hour. He was weak and could not walk... His pastor and dear friend came to see him and asked if there was anything that he needed and my dad said yes let's pray, I would like to go to church one last time if it would be Gods will! The next day he got out of that bed and made it to church two days later. No one could believe there eyes when he cam

I so much disagree. The Jesus I know in my heart would treat everyone with equanimity and make no difference between gender and race. He would look the hearts and souls, not the flesh
