The busyness of the holiday season can cause us to miss the true meaning of Christmas. Time has the same impact. When we come to a better understanding of who Jesus is, it can have a great impact on our direction and destination in life.

Our flaws and failures make us difficult to do life with. The Israelites needed to know how they were supposed have fellowship with God with all of their sins and trespasses. What do you do when you don’t even know that you have sinned and are unclean? God gave them some instructions.
How can we grow in wisdom so that we are not deceived? If you have ever been duped then you know that you must be alert at all times. What practical steps can we take to keep from getting faked out?
Do you have peace with God? God provided the Israelites with instructions on how to express thanksgiving and enjoy peace with Him. The fulfillment of the peace offering is ultimately fulfilled in the Messiah.
In a world full of deceit and lies, only God’s Word provides clear truth.
This is first in our series on Truth and Lies. The world we live has a ton of fake news. Truth and lies have a source. Life is lived best in knowing where to find the truth.
Do you have regrets? What if someone would have stepped up and counseled you? Would it have made a difference? Would you listen to them? The wise person listens to the people that God sends to them to help them live a life that pleases God and ends up with fewer regrets.
Do you have anyone in your life that is off track? Do you have a friend that has fallen? Tough love is often hard to give. The church has been good with tough but not with the love. We can learn to love like Christ has loved us with a tough winning love.
How does the love of God impact your life? Each of us will have difficult people in our lives. They may be in your home, in your neighborhood, at your workplace and even at church. How well are you loving them? How can you show them the love of God?
God confronts us with our sin and deals with us with tough love. Following Christ isn't always the easiest way but is always the best way. He loves us as we are but loves us enough not to leave us where we are.
All of life is a stewardship. It’s temporary and we need to be reminded of this. The Israelites were given instructions to give a grain offering to remind them of who is responsible for prosperity and why we should keep this in mind.
Are you ever hard to love? Do you get irritable in allergy season? What are you like when your team loses? We all can be very unlovable at times. Is there anyone who will love us in our messiness? The good news is about a love tough enough for us.
Do you want to be close to God? The Israelites were delivered so they could worship God. But God had to help them understand the terms of being their King. God has given us the way in Jesus Christ so that we can be near Him in these days.
When we do something together, it has the potential to affect how a generation sees God. Discover how we can help those around us when we have one voice. How, like Nehemiah, we can leverage what we have for the sake of others.
