Success itself cannot be created without first creating conditions for success.
PAINTERS, WRITERS, MUSICIANS, ENTREPRENEURS, DREAMERS, BIG THINKERS, etc. from the Great Southern region of Western Australia (just north of Antarctica, basically :-) talk about their passions and careers, what went wrong and what worked. Are qualifications more important than connections? How do you put yourself and your ideas "on the map"?

Q: Why are some people on an upwards trajectory and others aren't?
A: They use an effective system, know how to handle risks, are committed and not distracted (financially or otherwise), and they actually enjoy and identify with what they are doing.

If it's fun and value for everyone, it works - enjoy the ride!
Try things (this podcast series might only be an experiment), look at what can be learned, not why you might fail.

If I had listened to anyone who tried to talk me out of my ideas, I would still be where I was 25 years ago.
Change things!
Change yourself, if necessary.
Without change, nothing changes.

Shout out to everyone taking part and especially to Bec for her ongoing commitment and Adam Grok for providing the soundtrack, recorded at our 'Hemingway Studios' in Denmark/WA.

One man's dream to enter the space race: Glenn Smithers, farmer, decides Aussies should be first and put HOOVES ON MARS, EVENTUALLY (H.O.M.E.)
Business Consultant Richard Keeler, currently residing in Western Australia, unveils his plans for the planet's population. Clearly noone will get spared once he gets his finges on the orb and cross. In the end, he lays bare an encounter he had with His Holyness, The Dalai Lama, whilst re-robing himself in some airport security cubicle or other, which is not really part of the solution, just an interesting anecdote.
We discuss a few 5-minute topics at Vancouver Cafe. This might be interesting to anyone considering a move to Albany or surrounding shires. Everything is being exaggerated due to too much peppermint tea.
Featuring his newest tracks (recorded 2021 @ the Hemingway Studios Denmark by ourselves), we examine how touring with a band, investigating Australias ancient cultures across the continent and being a husband & dad can be combined without causing complete mayhem - if the family digs it.
We interview the National Chair of Australia's CCL and find out how he intends to promote rational climate policies by building relationships with politicians, and how a carbon tax could work as an incentive, rather than a punishment.
Rebecca actually makes a living writing her own fiction, writing for others and editing the writing of others. Plus, she manages a family of four. All that from a small town in Australia's Great Southern region, aka the ends of the earth. If you jump into a boat down here and row South for a few hours, you are in Antarctica. Don't forget your typewriter.
