Blast To The Past - We finally watched Casablanca! Traveling back to 1942/43 was an exciting experience. Long before our parents or we were born, Casablanca became a classic and began getting referenced and riffed on throughout the years by movies and tv shows that followed. This black and white special film starred Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid and was directed by Michael Curtiz. What do two teenagers think of an "old" movie? What amazed us the most about this movie? Most importantly, did the movie survive its times, or did it die with the past? Of all the podcasts that you could have listened to, you clicked on ours. This looks like the start of a beautiful episode.

Minions: The Rise of Gru and Thor: Love and Thunder both competed hard to try and be the #1 Summer Movie. Losing to Top Gun: Maverick, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and Jurrasic World Dominion. We aren't here to wonder why Top Gun won, but rather ask, why did Minions make more money than Thor?! Thor is the latest addition to the MCU, and Minions is, well, minions. Enough said, we gotta stop and wonder, why did Minions make more money than Thor? What did Minions do differently? What factors played into it? We aren't experts, but we can speculate!
