On the 2nd March 2018, Rodney Meelog, a small town hairdresser in Grovers Mill NJ went missing. Locals say he had gambling problems, the Police say he just skipped town for a new life, but most say he had no reason to leave the community at all.
What exactly was taped behind the two paintings that were found in Rodney’s house? Can they tell us who took Rodney and what happened to him?
Unlike most people in Grovers Mill, Rodney led a mysterious and often confusing life. A life that leads Willkie to the local drug dealer, a backpack and an eerie trip to the Shiptauken woods. Rodney has been missing for some time now. No leads. No real Police interest. A lot of worried friends and family. And then there are the recordings. A famous recognizable voice. Missing tapes and maybe, just maybe, finally some clues.
Our investigation comes to a halt when we receive a series of strange phone calls and our server is stolen. Episode 5 gets hacked and we struggle to put together the pieces.
Willkie's new leads take him to Panama where he meets an eccentric moon landing denier and uncovers an operation like no other. Could this be the moment we finally find out what happened to Rodney?
If travelling to Panama wasn’t enough, the team now land in Russia to speak to the two most famous whistleblowers in the world. At the same time US intelligence agencies are closing in and decisions need to be made.
Just when Willkie thought the journey was over, he receives a call from a scientist based on Easter Island. This scientist is connected to Willkie’s daughter and carries with him a secret that could affect mankind as we know it.
