I wanted to chat a little bit today about some things that may be holding you back in your business. I know that some of these things held me back for wayyy too long. Ya know, I never thought I’d be doing this. I never thought I’d be doing a direct sales business period, not to mention that I’d have a podcast and business surrounding it! I’m definitely your stereotypical introvert. I don’t like doing video, hearing my own voice, having my life all out there.But, I was pulled toward doing this for the sake of all the women out there who desperately want the freedom this type of business can bring but are going about it all wrong. I remember when I was in one of my previous MLMs doing the facebook spam-y method i was messaging back and forth with a friend/ acquaintance. And she kept putting off the decision, never a firm No, but not a yes either…. so I kept trying, because that’s what I was taught to do! Eventually, she was kind of dodging me… and then… i saw her in person… at church on Sunday. so that was awkward! She was perfectly nice to me but i could tell she didn’t want to linger in conversation (probably for fear I would try and pitch her right there in the church lobby!)See, this is exactly what I hate about network marketing.
