AMAZING
if you guys would speak louder that just would be great.
👏👏👏
Well damn...i actually needed that tbh. i can relate when people say they can't talk to their parents about their problems cuz they think this is a joke or a phase which shouldn't be cared about. like okay i fk that but if you can't be there when i need you, so please at least let me talk about my shits to a therapist!!! but hoooof... anyway... thanks for this episodeeeee:)
I'm having this problem. I want to tell my friend that she is being a little toxic but I'm scared to tell her. What can I do to tell her or do I not tell her? Can you please help me.
Just really cool people in general
Awesome teenager podcast
This made me cry. Real shit. Sad shit.
I think that you dont have to necessarily believe your acne is beautiful, but that shouldn't stop you from believing you can be beautiful, while still having acne. idk if that makes sense but when you say acne isn't beautiful it makes a person think that because they have acne they CAN'T be beautiful or that their acne makes them less attractive. so I think that you dont have to think acne is beautiful but believe you're still beautiful even if you have it. hope that makes sense.
And one more related comment about Asian parents: https://youtu.be/JTG54cLbXCg
Oh, and Gael, you played the therapist well in this episode. You ask good questions, you listen well.
I listened to Thomas's recounting of his experience running for president, and his honest and we'll articulated expression of his not feeling validated by his parents. I have heard that this pressure to be a superachiever is not uncommon with Asian parents in the US. I feel you. You can tell your parents how you feel but they may not understand as well as you would like. Sometimes we are born into a family that is less than perfect. Thomas has a lot of positive qualities and I'm sure he has and will accomplish awesome things. He is fortunate to have good friends (like you guys) who can give him the validation he needs. Everyone needs validation. On the other hand, it is also advisable not to care too much what people think of us. Anyway, Thomas, you're awesome, you're young, this too shall pass...
I love terrace house its such a feel good cute tv show.
So glad I found this Podcast! I’m a mom of a fourteen year old boy who just started his first year of high school. I love listening to every one of you and all the things you go through as a teen. It’s courageous to speak out and express your feelings, wish more teens would do this. Keep up the good work... you all are amazing! 🌟
