We're making history this week -- with our FIRST GUEST EVER! I'm joined by comedian/comédien/artist Mustafa Jorry for a conversation on doing your own thing, and laughter as medicine.
Follow Jorry on Instagram @mustafa_jorry.
TRIGGER WARNING: I've decided to throw scripts out the window and "speak from the heart" -- and what my heart has to say iissss.... heavy, lol.
This week we're talking about elderly parents and the painful transition from child to caretaker. Not the funnest topic, but I hope those of you going through this experience will relate/share.
This was supposed to be a review of Mohamed Kordofani's 2020 short documentary on the Khartoum sit-in, but ended up a trip (or JAWLA *wink*) down memory lane for me.
Did you participate in i3tisam alqiyada? What is your favorite memory from it?

I recorded this episode on Thursday night, after almost 20 hours awake following the June 30 demonstrations in Sudan. These are my raw feelings after a day that while monumental, was also crushing.
May the Sudanese people emerge triumphant against all those who conspire against us. May we all finally be free.
For Father's Day, I sat down with my dad, a.k.a Abouy, and tried to uncover the mystery of how he came to be the father he is. He led us down a winding road of conversation, which was hijacked at one point by my mother, a.k.a. Ummi. I hope you'll enjoy.
