Just a quick, little update!
This week on Hagrid's Hut, Rebecca and Olivia discuss the drama of chapter 9: The Midnight Duel. Harry is excited to start his first flying lesson, but of COURSE it’s with Slytherin. After Neville has an accident, the class becomes unsupervised and Malfoy gets up to his typical shenanigans. An argument arises ultimately leading Harry to becoming SEEKER for the Gryffindor's quidditch team. Angry and jealous, Malfoy challenges Harry to a duel which is to be held at midnight in the trophy room... however, no trophies are won that night. Instead, Harry and his friends find themself in serious trouble.

Listener discretion is advised. This week on Hagrid’s Hut, Olivia and Rebecca discuss Joanne Rowling. They talk about her personal history, facts about her process while writing the series, the controversial things she has said and done that has broken the hearts of many fans, and the consequences of her actions. Rebecca and Olivia end the episode with a ray of hope and love as they discuss the reactions of her colleagues (and other people involved in the creation of the Harry Potter universe) to her transphobia. The hosts of Hagrid’s Hut want their listeners to know that they do NOT affiliate with any social or socio-political views of JK Rowling. This week on Hagrid's Hut, Rebecca and Olivia are joined by special guest Hannah! They discuss the start of Harry's scholarly journey at Hogwarts with Astrology, Herbology, History of Magic, Charms, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts,  and (most notably) Potions. In addition to classes, Harry receives an owl from Hagrid, inviting him to tea. This turns out to be a welcome distraction from the terrible potions class he had. However,  Harry finds this visit more than just an unclely (friendly) check-in and is left with questions that puts his dreadful potions class experience out of his head. These three ladies have a grand time talking about the book and also discuss what it is like being a real witch!Explicit Content Warning: There is content of a sexual nature in this episode. Please take this into consideration before listening. Thank you!
This week on Hagrid's Hut, Rebecca and Olivia take a deep dive into the many aspects of the Hogwarts's Houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. Have you ever wondered which house each Winnie the Pooh character would be sorted into? Well, if you ever though of or asked such a bazar and specific question, look no further. The answers are here! Rebecca and Olivia reveal what houses they have been sorted into, as well! If you would like to find out, here is a link to the BEST Harry Potter Sorting Hat quiz, which includes all of the questions from J.K. Rowling's "pottermore" and the percentage of each house you're in!https://wizardmore.com/sorting-hat-x/?fbclid=IwAR1UWFwYR6rxLEcHPHnYNy0MIjKgSZFfEivHOveeRrZdAIhcYclziLSWYj8

He is surprised around every corner as the secrets of the wizarding world are revealed to him. This weeks Trivia with Olivia gets intense, as the points start counting for something! Who will win the house cup this year?
This week on Hagrid's Hut, Olivia and Rebecca follow Harry on his adventure to Hogwarts. After a stressful struggle to get there, Harry finds himself on the legendary Hogwarts Express. Hello there, my Potter people. This week we follow Harry and Hagrid off of that awful rock, and  wind our way around the incredible wizarding marketplace, Diagon Alley! We visit a couple vaults in Gringotts (possibly the world's ONLY wizard bank?), get our robes fitted, gather everything we will need for potion making, buy all of our school books, AND get our very own wand. Harry gets a few more surprises from "uncle" Hagrid for his birthday, and Harry learns EVEN MORE about the wizarding world!
This week on Hagrid's Hut, we discover who the stranger at the door is. This stranger tells Harry many things about his past (and who he is in general) that the Dursley's have been keeping secret from him for the last 10 years! It's a wild and crazy ride, with many interesting tangents.
This week on Hagrid's Hut, Rebecca and Olivia discuss the third chapter in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, "The Letters From No One." Uncle Vernon goes to extreme lengths to prevent Harry from receiving his letters. Join these ADHA women as the fly wildly from topic to topic, just as wildly as the letters fly out of the fireplace!
