In The Mandalorian Chapter 16, “The Rescue,” Mando leads a daring assault on Moff Gideon’s cruiser to save Grogu, teaming up with Bo-Katan, Cara Dune, Fennec Shand, and Koska Reeves. After an intense showdown, Mando defeats Gideon in combat—accidentally winning the Darksaber and Bo-Katan’s side-eye in the process. Just as things look dire with Dark Troopers closing in, the Luke Skywalker arrives to mow them down like it’s 1983 again. The episode ends with a tearful goodbye as Mando removes his helmet so Grogu can see his face, giving Star Wars fans everywhere a collective emotional meltdown.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
In Chapter 15, The Believer, Mando teams up with ex-Imperial sharpshooter Mayfeld for a covert mission to locate Moff Gideon’s cruiser. To do so, Mando disguises himself as an Imperial trooper and endures a tense infiltration of an Imperial refinery, culminating in an awkwardly brilliant mess-hall scene where Mayfeld snaps and blasts an officer mid-monologue. After a chaotic escape involving TIE fighters and Slave One-style fireworks, Mayfeld earns his freedom. This is the Way.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
In Chapter 14 of The Mandalorian, Din takes Grogu to the ancient seeing stone on Tython for some Jedi Wi-Fi, but just as the Force signal is loading, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand show up demanding the armor back. Before anyone can settle things, Imperial troops crash the party, leading to a tag-team brawl where Fett reminds everyone why he’s a legend. The good news: Din gains allies. The bad news: Moff Gideon swoops in and nabs Grogu, leaving Din staring at smoldering wreckage of the Razor Crest and one very empty baby carrier.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
In Chapter 13 of The Mandalorian, The Jedi, Din finally meets Ahsoka Tano, who’s been slicing and dicing her way through a corrupt magistrate’s goons. She bonds with Baby Yo—errr, Grogu—and reveals his name, his tragic Jedi daycare backstory, and his force powers. Ahsoka refuses to train him (classic Jedi move), but she does point Din toward the planet Tython, while also casually dropping the name of her real target: Grand Admiral Thrawn.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
Remeber to follow us over at our other podcast BAD MOVIES WORSE PEOPLE because The Mandalorian will be moving there exclusively VERY SOON!On this episode, we discuss The Mandalorian Chapter 12, in which Mando swings by Navarro for some much needed spaceship repairs, only to get roped into helping Greef Karga and Cara Dune blow up what’s supposed to be an abandoned Imperial base, but in Star Wars, “abandoned” always means full of stormtroopers. Inside, they stumble on creepy cloning experiments while Baby Yoda enjoys a day at space preschool and proves that even Force-sensitive toddlers need creamy blue cookies.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
Chapter 11 of The Mandalorian sees Mando finally deliver Frog Lady to her husband, who doesn’t seem too upset about all of his dead kids. Things improve when Mando teams up with a squad of Mandalorians led by Bo-Katan, who’s basically Mandalorian royalty and makes him look like the kid still riding with training wheels. Together they hijack an Imperial ship, toss stormtroopers around like trash bags, and set up the looming quest for the Darksaber—while Baby Yoda spends the episode learning how not to eat other people’s children.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com

Things go south fast when Baby Yoda treats the eggs like a personal snack bar, and a pit stop on an icy planet unleashes a horde of nightmare fuel spider-creatures. We get appearances from X-Wing pilots and some kick ass flying.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com

In The Mandalorian Chapter 9, Mando returns to Tatooine in search of other Mandalorians, only to find Cobb Vanth—a marshal wearing Boba Fett’s armor and a serious swagger. The two strike an uneasy deal: help kill a massive krayt dragon in exchange for the armor. They team up with Tusken Raiders (because nothing says “bonding” like shared monster hunting) and pull off a spectacularly messy victory. Mando gets the armor, rides off into the suns, and a mysterious, very familiar figure watches him leave.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com

After a fierce showdown, Mando defeats Gideon and finally earns his official Mandalorian signet. The episode ends with Gideon slicing his way out of a wrecked TIE fighter, with the help of the Darksaber’s dramatic entrance, because villains in capes never just stay down.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
New episodes of Han Took Shots First are now available on the Bad Movies Worse People main feed as well, soon they will only be available there, so please follow Bad Movies Worse People. In Chapter 7 of The Mandalorian, Mando reluctantly returns to Navarro after Greef Karga proposes a truce and a plan to take out the Client once and for all. He assembles a ragtag team, including Cara Dune, Kuiil, and IG-11, and brings Baby Yoda along for what is definitely not a 50-year-old baby safe mission. Things quickly spiral when Moff Gideon shows up, dramatically outclassing everyone and turning the trap into a massacre. The episode ends with Kuiil tragically killed and Baby Yoda captured, proving once again that trusting people in Star Wars is a fast track to heartbreak.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
In Chapter 5 of The Mandalorian, Mando makes an emergency landing on Tatooine after his ship takes damage during a dogfight. To pay for repairs, he teams up with an overconfident rookie bounty hunter named Toro Calican to track down the elusive assassin Fennec Shand, played by the great Ming Na-Wen.. The plan goes sideways when Toro double-crosses everyone, proving he's more amateur than ambitious. In the end, Mando takes him out, gets his ship fixed, and leaves behind another mess... along with a mysterious figure who arrives at Fennec’s body.
In Chapter 4 of The Mandalorian, Mando tries to hide out on a peaceful farming planet, but ends up teaming up with ex-Rebel badass (and real-life trash person) Cara Dune to teach clueless villagers how to fight off raiders with a terrifying AT-ST. There’s bonding, training montages, and a romantic subplot that goes nowhere because Mando’s married to the helmet. In the end, our heroes realize there’s no rest for the helmeted, especially with a 50-year-old toddler in tow.Get a lot more Worse People Production content at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
For this episode we asked Werner Herzog himself to summarize what you can expect. "In the bleak and merciless galaxy, a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter delivers his quarry — a small, ancient creature of untold power — to men whose morality is as withered as the dust on their boots. Yet as he watches the infant taken behind cold doors, a terrible melancholy seeps into his soul, for he knows: they do not wish to nurture this being, but to harvest it, like some cosmic veal. Compelled by a code older than the stars, he returns, a silent wrath in beskar armor, to reclaim the child — unleashing violence with the clinical poetry of a man both haunted and free. The city turns against him, the guild abandons him, and only his kin in chrome rise from the shadows, jetpacks blazing like Icarus made manifest. It is not victory, but an escape — and so he flies, with the child, into the existential void, both burdened and redeemed by love."Get a lot more of our content at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
