Have you ever been afraid of yourself? Or how much you’re growing, and the pace that you’re growing at?Going through a “growth spurt” can be pretty uncomfortable because of the changes that are happening, and a “personal growth spurt” is no different. They mirror the physical growth spurts we experience in childhood, but on a mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Over the last few months, I've been going through a massive personal growth spurt, and I want to share what I’ve learned about the importance of rest, reflection, and recovery in the process. Growth can be uncomfortable, even scary, but it’s necessary. Just like our muscles need rest days to recover and grow stronger after a workout, we also need time to process and heal from personal growth. In this episode, Tyler Simone discusses why it’s important to give yourself permission to pause, reflect, and recover to truly step into who you're becoming. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck in your journey, this episode is for you.Subscribe to the podcast so that you never miss an upload! Criticism is the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes. It is a critical observation or remark, and is unfavorable or unnecessary at times.Constructive criticism is a type of feedback that offers specific and actionable advice to help someone improve; there is a sense of compassion. When the motivation to do something runs out, all you have left is your discipline to keep going. Discipline is an interesting thing because when you take actions in the direction that you want to go, you get more excited about it, and that creates a motivation to keep going. And seeing your progress creates discipline, allowing you to make more progress. Choice is at the root of it all. Deciding that you want something so bad that you are willing to continue to pursue it.In this episode, Tyler Simone discusses how to become more disciplined and why mastering it is the key to progress.Subscribe to the podcast so that you never miss an upload! Who we are, and the things that we believe about ourselves is what creates our identity, among other things. Internally, your identity is this mixture of personal opinions, perceptions, and rules that you have for yourself. And the reason why those things are so important to examine is because they make up the filter through which you see the rest of the world. The more aware we become of our beliefs, the better we understand ourselves and the more we can choose who we want to be moving forward. ⁣In this episode, Tyler Simone discusses beliefs, the importance of positive self-talk, and how to turn your limiting beliefs into empowering ones. ⁣Subscribe to the podcast so that you never miss an upload!
