My husband and I chose the word PERSISTENCE for 2022 to encourage us to continue showing up day after day -- to keep coming back -- to consistently do the work -- and to get back up when we inevitably fall.

Okay so then not specifically 10:30am, but more like four-ish hours after you wake up. The example in the quoted article gave a 6:30am wakeup time, and it goes to figure that four hours later you're already dying. Basically, if you're gonna guzzle an entire pot of coffee, at least try to space it out in four-hour increments throughout the day. Got it!

If you didn't start singing "Listen to Your Heart" by Roxette when they were instructing listeners to do just that, then I really don't think we can be friends. You're either too old, too young, too cool, or too boring, and I'm kinda looking for a Goldilocks setup.

I have a serious lack of motivation to do the things I know I should, so I have various "uniforms" that I don to help put me in the mood to get busy: for housework, an apron that my mom made me; for writing, a NaNoWriMo t-shirt; for food delivery, a doordash t-shirt... I feel so much more inclined to WORK when I purposefully dress for the occasion. So this study makes total sense to me.
