Our one and only summer episode features @AlteNatives, an open platform for creative collaboration that is united by their diversity and the content they release, which ranges from DJ mixes, live events, jam sessions, and beyond. We talk about ‘Alte In The Park’, a unique event or one-day festival scheduled for September 4th, 2021 at Englandsparken. We also discussed collaborating with other creatives just like Haps Haps, and their plan to merge multiple ideas in the preparation of this event, and how they expect to see it through. Stay tuned for part II, where the gang will provide more details about ‘Alte In The Park’. Follow: @justhapshaps / Contact: info@justhapshaps.com
As things are gradually going back to some sort of normality, we managed to squeeze in another Out with Haps Haps episode. We sat down with @CxCxChuChu, a non-stop traveler that makes bangers after bangers. We talk about her upbringings, finding her identity, and the challenges she faced in Denmark giving her background. We also discussed music, connecting with other upcoming creatives, and got to witness two live-performances, as usual in these series. Follow: @justhapshaps / Contact: info@justhapshaps.com
Some say you cannot call your band after a book, but Magnus, aka @DuneMessiahdk, thinks otherwise. Inspired mostly by Leonard Cohen, @DuneMessiahdk sits with us to talk about his transition from writing about things that happened in his life throughout his albums, to being more concerned about what’s going on in the world, and reflecting it with a new exotic sound full of quirky notes. Additionally, @DuneMessiahdk grants us with the premiere of a song from his upcoming album. So yea, enjoy this episode of ‘Out with Haps Haps’. Follow: @justhapshaps / Contact: info@justhapshaps.com
For this episode we stole some time from Emily Holm Nyhuus and her bandmate Marius Svejdal Bertelsen, who together make up the business end of @Revealparty. We talk about the story behind Reveal Party, the power, honesty, and meaning of her lyrics, coming out to the world and how she reflects it. Follow @justhapshaps / Contact: info@justhapshaps.com
This installment features the adventurous indie-folk band, @maviexpress. A diverse group of artists from different backgrounds, whose value is to try to make honest music while staying true to themselves and where they come from. For them, it's all about jamming, good energy, and adding their personal sound to the band. Follow @justhapshaps / Contact: info@justhapshaps.com
Our second installment of “Out with Haps Haps” features the Omondo Collective (@omondo.collective). A Soul and RnB group of four individuals (@elijahokello.co, @djavanjami, @petahmoodie & @soleilcamara) whose overall mission is to fill in the gap that exists within the Danish and Swedish music scene by simply providing black music with its corresponding representation. In this episode of "Out with Haps Haps", We At Sea tells us about her first heartbreak and it’s influence in her debut single. The horrid conditions that refugees face, and her need to say something about it through her music. We also discuss the role of women in music and society, a conversation that shouldn’t fade away regardless of the waves.
