Moe is filled with ghosts - stories dating back to the 1880's probably some from before even then which we just haven't heard about. Many happy children again with the interaction of the spirit with them, sometimes the family's only indication of a presence.   Other similar stories you might like are also from the: Brown Coal Mine Ghost

Content Warning (CW) the last story before the bonus content discusses infanticide and suicide (it's not usually something I give a warning for, but in this case, I think it is important.)   Today Moe has a reputation for a crime. It appears it wasn't always like that as Matt points out many of these crimes take place in Coalville and Narracan, or by people outside the town.    Join us as we explore the true-crime of Moe Victoria.    Learn more about our advertisers or support us by support them: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au/about-haunted-hills-advertisers/   SMALL INFAMOUS TOWNS AND THE BIG STORIES   Enhance your listening experience: https://www.patreon.com/Hauntedhills   Our website: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au  Here you can search for what you've heard on our podcast.   Share a story tip or idea: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au/share-your-story-with-haunted-hills/   Leave us a voicemail: https://www.speakpipe.com/HauntedHills   Get more Haunted Hills: Hauntedhills.redbubble.com     These are related episodes that have similar themes you might want to revisit: For 'successful' or 'complete' bank robbery stories, they are in Brown Coal Mine True Crime.  Available on Patreon called "Tragedy on the banks of the Latrobe River"  Rosedale Crime Episode  Portsea True Crime - Soldiers The Traralgon Crime case has a case of infanticide. A social history of Roswell New Mexico. You might know this infamous small town as the place aliens crashed (well it was at Corona...) anyway this episode isn't that one - yet.    As always we're going to met the Butcher, Baker and candlestick maker of Roswell - only the people were pilots, cattle ranchers, telephone company employees and apple growers. Which you might notice are some of the elements involved in the Roswell Incident - but not these people.      I originally recorded this with Brenden from Master Talk YouTube however there were technical difficulties on my end of the recording. It was a great chat, and he was so insightful and thoughtful.  He also gave me pointers to re-record the intro. I can still put the original at the end for you to decide a comparison, although you won't hear Brendan.   Join us for live discussion in upcoming episodes for $16.91 you can join in the conversation.   Learn more about our advertisers or support us by support them: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au/about-haunted-hills-advertisers/   SMALL TOWNS BIG STORIES   Enhance your listening experience: https://www.patreon.com/Hauntedhills   Our website: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au  Here you can search for what you've heard on our podcast.   Share a story tip or idea: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au/share-your-story-with-haunted-hills/   Leave us a voicemail: https://www.speakpipe.com/HauntedHills   Get more Haunted Hills: Hauntedhills.redbubble.com

In the Morwell History episode, we explored the agriculture sector, so I continued the theme in the Morwell True Crime episode.  I thought I'd check out the crimes in the agricultural field. I thought I'd just find more dirty slaughter yards and stolen horses. Well.... well, well Once we sampled those crimes then moved on to more serious crimes, murder, public indecency or sexual assault, and child abuse.   Join us for live discussion in upcoming episodes for $16.91 you can be part of the conversation   More information on our webiste Learn more about our advertisers or support us by supporting them: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au/about-haunted-hills-advertisers/   SMALL TOWNS BIG STORIES   Enhance your listening experience: https://www.patreon.com/Hauntedhills   Our website: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au  Here you can search for what you've heard on our podcast.   Share a story tip or idea: https://www.hauntedhillstours.com.au/share-your-story-with-haunted-hills/   Leave us a voicemail: https://www.speakpipe.com/HauntedHills   Get more Haunted Hills: Hauntedhills.redbubble.com

Where there are people usually there is a crime. Although something that might resonate with over-policed communities - Mallacoota didn't get a police station until much later than this research takes place.   So I found a smuggler, attempted poisoning, some odd deaths, a couple of manhunts... one for a potential murderer and another for some joyriders also known as car thieves.   Listen to the true-crime episode of Mallacoota Victoria.   For more information please follow this link for references and our website.   If you're searching for an advertisement you heard about - this link will show you the current ads we have to support Haunted Hills.
