We still had time for some seriously scary stories about monsters of the Arctic and haunted ping pong balls, to name a few. We also launched the Haunted AF dream analysis segment Beyond the Pillow. Haunted AF will drop our regular episode this Thursday but first, we wanted to introduce you to a new podcast. Fear Daily takes you into the shadows of the past, unearthing the 1990's most terrifying tales of monsters, madness, and life after death. Join them as they explore the ghost stories and supernatural encounters left on an old online bulletin board that continues to operate somewhere in an unknown part of the Pennsylvania Rust Belt - a time capsule of society's greatest fears. Written...

I've been listening to this podcast for a while. On Spotify. Sadly they only allow rating, which I've done, but I really wanted to leave a comment somewhere because this is SUCH A FANTASTIC show. I love how you manage to combine fun and frightening, and you do so in a very respectful way. 💚
smudging is a closed practice for one. white sage is being poached from native lands and is endangered now thanks to tons of ghost hunters and “mediums” telling everyone to use it.
can y’all stop saying “voodoo” with anything you consider “bad” or “negative” african traditional religions aren’t bad or evil. that’s the catholic church still ruining our religions centuries later.
i heard agatha for the evp
great show today
It's sleep paralysis... the shadowy figure sitting on Farva's chest, the shadow figure in the corner... his ability to finally break free and move... all textbook sleep paralysis. The doctor is correct in his diagnosis. plus, the fact the girlfriend saw similar figures isn't solid evidence. first of all, two blurry, undefined, shadow figures? Super easy to sort of fit in ANY paranormal account, since they are so nondescript. I always tell my psych students, "correlation does NOT equal causation." Just because two accounts somewhat seem to match up, this is not evidence of a correlation between both.
Okay, I enjoy the podcast, but you need me to be your resident skeptic. The Anson lights is easily explained by psychology and physics. It is simply a mirage, caused by a temperature inversion. I know this isn't a fun story, it takes the "scary" out if it, but it is the scientific answer. The Marfa Lights operate on the same principle. The reason why we see "one" light as opposed to two is simply an optical illusion of the light being diffused and bent in the temperature inversion. We can't trust our eyes, they fool us all of the time. I teach psychology, so I have a pretty good handle on this stuff.
love this podcast!
at 30:06 I hear a man say "have a good night "
Really fun podcast with some great stories. Love the rapport between the hosts, and great quality for a new podcast. Looking forward to future episodes.
