Her canvases are more than visuals—they’re pages of a painted diary, telling stories of love, loss, resilience, and hope.As a breast cancer survivor, Maria has dedicated herself to raising awareness about early detection and using that experience of resilience and strength as a reflection not only in her words but in her vibrant and textured creations. She primarily works with acrylics on canvas, paper, and found objects, often incorporating unexpected materials to bring her emotions and messages to life. Her work has been exhibited internationally, with one of her most cherished milestones being her feature at Venice Biennale Arte in 2024.
