Save the date! 02.04.23Presented by The Leadership One Stop and HE Talks Podcast...we are excited to announce the first annual Black Male Summit! We are inviting Black Men from all over Birmingham who are community leaders, educators, local appointed and elected officials, activists, and mentors to the Black Men Summit. From 9am to 12:30pm, we will hear from dynamic community leaders about the state of Black Men in Birmingham and ways to elevate our communities. In addition, we will provide opportunities for networking and collaboration during several of our networking periods throughout the event. Last, our goal is to provide long term solutions to the various issues affecting Black Men and the community overall. Therefore, we will be providing breakout sessions and safe spaces for us to answer the ultimate question..."what next and how do we fix our communities?" Then, it gets even better! After we dismiss the various leaders throughout the city at the conclusion of the event...we will be hosting our young men ages (11-17 years old) for a summit geared towards the next generation of Black Male leaders. We will have dynamic speakers from through the country to talk with young men about the journey of manhood, cultural identity, leadership, and the importance of education.
