In this episode, Nazarin Veronica delves into her journey from questioning mainstream COVID-19 narratives to becoming a vocal critic of vaccine mandates and media manipulation. She reflects on her isolation during lockdown which led to skepticism towards official information, resulting in strained relationships due to her dissenting views. Veronica discusses her efforts to spread awareness, like handing out leaflets, her disillusionment with mainstream media tactics through her experience with the BBC documentary "Unvaccinated," where she felt her views were misrepresented to serve an agenda. Post-documentary, she leveraged social media to correct the narrative, gaining unexpected support. Now, years later, she sees slow shifts in public discourse towards vaccine safety but remains vigilant about government overreach and continues advocating for critical thinking and personal liberty. *Special thanks to Bosch Fawstin for recording our intro/outro on this podcast. Mark Steyn and Naomi Wolf flew over to the UK to go to court against OFCOM.  The Office of Communications, commonly known as Ofcom, is the government-approved regulatory and competition authority for the broadcasting, telecommunications and postal industries of the United Kingdom.  Mark Steyn got into hot water with the government media approval body for his interview with Naomi Wolf on GBNews back in October 2022.  Mark was soon sacked after this interview.  This intrusion of the state into what the media is allowed to say is a dangerous development in the State’s increasing control of speech both online and offline.  *Thankyou to Leilani Dowding for the footage of Prof Norman Fenton and Elizabeth Barker Connect with Mark Steyn... Two stories have really stood out this week, one from each side of the pond that we want to focus on. This episode we look firstly at the big news in the US, that the Supreme Court of the US (SCOTUS) has overturned the 40 year old ruling of Roe vs Wade, that stated that it was a constitutional right to have an abortion. Under this ruling It now goes back to the individual states. This is a huge win for the pro life movement and was only made possible through President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominations. A big talking point this week in Britain was the culmination of an investigation into South Yorkshire Police for their failings to respond effectively to the grooming gang scandal. In the UK the police regulate themselves and imagine our surprise that they have decided that there is no case to answer for! The UK has 43 police forces and this 7 year investigation was into one of them, and although they acknowledge failings, not one single police officer will face prosecution. The Winston Smith Literary Review Presents CLIMATE: ALL IS WELL, ALL WILL BE WELL An Evening with Jeremy Nieboer (Bruges Group) A talk by Jeremy followed by questions from the audience. Wallingford Town Hall Nr Oxford, England 7pm Wednesday 22nd June 2022 Streaming LIVE exclusively by Hearts of Oak Jeremy Nieboer was educated at Harrow School and Oriel College Oxford. After a period practising as a member of the Bar in Kings Bench Walk he was later admitted as a solicitor becoming a partner in two City law firms. He specialised in corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, capital market public offerings, private equity transactions and commercial law. He still acts for a few long-standing clients. His first encounter with any challenge to the accepted doctrine of 'global warming' came through his contact with Christopher Booker, whom Jeremy first met when acting as lead solicitor on the application by Lord Rees-Mogg to restrain ratification of the Maastricht Treaty. Christopher himself published his essential work "The Real Global Warming Disaster" in 2009. Just at the time of its publication, there was a public meeting in Church House addressed by Professor Plimer in which he succinctly set out the fundamental scientific flaws of alleged CO2 driven global warming. It was this that set Jeremy on a path of enquiry and research. Jeremy has since spoken at numerous meetings as to the want of any tenable scientific basis for the vast proposed expenditure on the folly of de-carbonisation. He published his first booklet on climate alarmism with the Bruges Group in 2010, "A Lesson in Democracy", and has been a lead speaker at public meetings and debates on the subject. Jeremy’s latest book ‘Climate, all is well, all will be well’ available on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Climate-all-well-will/dp/1838065857/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr= Follow Winston Smith Literary Review on GETTR and Facebook https://gettr.com/user/winstonsmithlr https://www.facebook.com/WinstonSmithLiteraryReview/?ti=as Recorded live 22.6.22 *Special thanks to Bosch Fawstin for recording our intro/outro on this podcast. Britain, Animal Rights and Religious Slaughter with Mike Glennon  In this podcast exclusive, we open up this issue with a focus on the abattoir industry in Great Britain and how the cowardice of our political masters permits ritual cruelty in a land we assume to be civilised.  We live in a Western World obsessed with human rights, though ironically one where the rights of individuals to freedom of speech, freedom of association and even freedom of thought are drying up fast.   Contradiction piles upon hypocrisy piles upon paradox.    Alas, when it comes to animal rights there is little contradiction or paradox: the majority of citizens - when it really comes to the crunch - don't give a damn about animal welfare.  Admittedly, many may worship their domestic pets, but when it comes to the doleful suffering of animals in our food chain, their minds wander elsewhere as soon as the issue is raised.    Mike Glennon is a retired politics lecturer and has been a political activist for nearly two decades. The defence and survival of an independent British Britain has been his driving motivation.    Mike is a lifelong supporter of animal charities, he is chairman of Worthing Cat Welfare Trust, who rescue and re-home around 250 cats and kittens every year.   Their annual vet bills hover around the £100,000 mark and overall rescue and billeting costs are increasing steadily. They can only exist courtesy of the kindness and generosity of supporters and donors.  As a small charity, which employs no staff at all, management and administration costs are extremely low compared with many larger charities, which means much more of your donation finds its way directly to tangible cat welfare. They do fantastic work and anything you can contribute today will be gratefully received.  https://www.worthingcatwelfaretrust.org/donate/ (use reference OAK) Originally broadcast  21.1.22    *Special thanks to Bosch Fawstin for recording our intro/outro on this podcast.  Check out his art https://theboschfawstinstore.blogspot.com/ and follow him on GETTR https://gettr.com/user/BoschFawstin     To sign up for our weekly email, find our social media, podcasts, video, livestreaming platforms and more go to https://heartsofoak.org/       https://heartsofoak.org/find-us/   Please like, subscribe & share!
We have seen many false dawns with new social media platforms to combat the censorship of Free Speech, but now it seems as though GETTR is just what we have all been waiting for. Its is a wonderful platform that is smooth, easy to use and looks good with new features being added regularly. In this short podcast we look at the news stories surrounding the huge wave of people joining GETTR recently. But a social media platform without people is of no use, so we also have a look at who has been joining..... including many of our high profile guests. Courage is what we need more than anything else going into 2022.  Covid totalitarianism will only increase and not very far away from our shores, Germans and Austrians who once enjoyed freedom face restrictions, discrimination and possibly jail.  When you and your family are threatened with persecution you need courage, endurance, fortitude and confidence to not simply go with the flow.  It was a quote from the most famous of all Christian preachers, Billy Graham  that stood out as I was thinking of this topic.   "Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened".  My wish for this year is that each of you will have courage that is contagious and inspires others to think for themselves and to not comply with tyranny.
