Welcome to this BONUS episode. This is something that was recorded
almost a year ago for a podcast I was trying to do called The Horror Archives.
I had on Writer and Director Jason Krawczyk. Jason came on the podcast
to talk about the (almost) 10 year anniversary of his film He Never Died, starring Henry Rollins.
I wanted to share this here as it was a good interview and we had a lot to talk about with the making of the film and because Jason took the time to do this for an unknown podcast.
Jason has a bunch of projects in the works and is also an author with his current book release called "Reality Squall"
His newest film called Dont Mess with Grandma (which at the time of recording was called Sunset Superman), starring Michael Jai White will be out in 2024.

This weeks episode of the podcast is an interview with Bryan Funck (Vocalist), Andy Gibbs (Guitarist) and Mitch Wells (Bassist) of the band Thou. We discussed the bands new album "Umbilical" which is available now wherever you listen to music as well as directly from the band. After discussing the album we also got into a pretty deep discussion about polital ethos and the correlation with "problematic" metal bands in the scene and whether its the listeners discretion to directly support these bands or not. We also just have a general good time and some laughs about the best song on the album "House of Ideas" and that you should in FACT, only listen to the first half of the album and not even bother with the rest. Thanks to Bryan, Mitch and Andy for their time. Go follow Thou HERE https://noladiy.org/thoudiscography.html https://www.instagram.com/thou_band/?hl=en https://x.com/eyehatethou?lang=en

Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guest is Zak Vargas from the now defunct band Elysia. Zak came on the podcat to talk the 18 year history of the bands debut album "Masochist" which is currently getting a remaster\reissue treatment on May the 10th.
Zak took me through the entire history of the record track by track discussing each song as well as their timeline with demos and other songs and how the reissue came to be over the past few years. We also discuss a lot of the lyrical themes and even breifly touch on "Lion of Judas" and the bands break up.

This deluxe edition CD features all-new artwork by Alexandre Goulet (All Out War, Ion Dissonance, Despised Icon); a fresh new remaster by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege; plus a 24-page booklet with lyrics, photos, flyers, and retrospective insights from vocalist Zak Vargas.
