The Hidden Danger Of Chocolate

Did you know that Lindt & Sprüngli, the renowned Swiss chocolatier, is currently facing a class-action lawsuit in the United States concerning allegations of elevated levels of heavy metals lead and cadmium in its dark chocolate products. The lawsuit, initiated in February 2022 was spurred by a 2022 Consumer Reports investigation that tested 28 dark chocolate bars sold in the U.S., revealing that certain Lindt products (including 70% and 85% cacao bars) contained higher-than-acceptable levels of these heavy metals!
