WE'RE BACK! In a week where we celebrated moms and Avengers made another 3 Trillion dollars we take the high road and talk about...some superhero movies because it's what society wants. The boys talk about their progress with the CrespoHundo, what tunes are nostalgic for them and whether or not Captain Marvel was too "on the nose". They end the episode with a real thinker!
The Boys are Back in Town! This week's episode deals with some deep stuff. The boys tackle a bit of politics and then discuss the Ryan Adams allegations. Ryan and Alex then talk about movie musicals and end with some death...because after all that stuff, it's the only way to end such a show.
In a week where a polar vortex is making the midwest an even worse place to live, we took the high road and discussed being better in sports. Alex talks about his Oscar realization, Ryan hasn't eaten enough sausage rolls and the boys discuss TV shows and a Top 5 that really wraps up 2018. Please, everyone stay warm...and read a book!

Alex spends way too long talking about Christmas movies, Ryan talks about raising his child the right (theatrical) way and then they both get to do their own Top 5! Happy belated holidays and cheers to a new year!
Yes. We still exist! It has been too long and it has made us sad but here is a new episode for your holes! It was recorded a while ago but still relevant. This episode deals with preppers, comic book movies and Gremlins 2 (of course). The boys then discuss some under the radar bands and finish talking about recommending music to people and TRUMP.
In a week where Trump trashed LeBron James on Twitter, we took the high road and discussed movies. Nothing but movies! Well, except the 20 minutes Alex talks about getting permanent birth control. Ryan found Armageddon criterion collection and then the boys end the show by talking about a movie that has currently made over 5 trillion dollars (probably). There's also a spoiler for the movie Annihilation so be warned!
In a week where we celebrated wins and mourned some losses we took the high road and discussed going to see the family film Hereditary (no spoilers of course). Ryan talks about some of the shows he's starting to watch and rewatch. Alex praises his wife for sticking to her guns and then sends Netflix an email. Then the boys go "Under the Radar" for their Top 5.
In a week where people were losing their minds over a prince marrying someone that was on ONE television show, we took the high road and talked about race relations in America (of course). Ryan discusses seeing a superhero movie for our listeners. Alex wants to be referred to as "The Word" and then they get deep with a "What Does Ryan Think?" courtesy of Alex's "friend", Chuck Klosterman. Also, check out our Top 5 that was years in the making!
In a week where Starbucks proved to be a true 2018 American institution, we took the high road and had a guest in the studio! Patrick M McShane joins us to talk Star Wars, working in record stores, the need to belong and crying as a father. The boys also discuss DNA, ancestry and then revisit bands from the oughts.
In a week where Black Panther made another 7 trillion dollars we took the high road and talk a little sports ball/puck. Ryan talks about Star Wars and then why old formats annoy him, Alex discusses Wahlberg having a field day and then the boys bring up their favorite supporting roles. There's also a new game to play at home!
In a week where our youth took a stand against our discretions we take the high road and chat about a groundhog, pancakes and Jesus. Ryan questions the immigration status of a co-worker, Alex realizes why we'll never have universal healthcare, then the boys discuss the female artists that make them stand up and cheer. Everyone be cool.
In a week where awards have started to be handed out to white people for acting like other historical white people, we take the high road and talk about what films stuck with us from last year. Ryan talks about comedy specials, Alex gets to present Star Wars news and the boys take a traditional trip to the Emergency Rooms to check out what people are sticking inside themselves.
It's the time of year for giving, so we'll be giving you an ear full of holiday banter. This will include holiday food we love, Ryan talks Star Wars (Spoiler Free), Alex gets upset with people complaining about early Christmas celebrations and they both tackle the Netflix movie that has taken the internet by storm, A Christmas Prince. In a week where Hollywood and our government are burning to the ground, we DON'T take the high road and actually discuss relevant current events...but in the Hercules Dagger way! Ryan talks about his Thor experience, Alex mentions that Wahlberg is outta control in The Departed and the boys take on some French words in their Top 5!
In a week where Alex is on paternity leave and Ryan ran a 5K...well, you're lucky they ain't dead. This week the boys talk Halloween and some of their favorite films to watch. Alex talks about some other podcasts, Ryan reviews the new Spielberg documentary and they decipher the difference between horrors and thrillers. The New York Times has called this episode "Spooktacular", the neighbors have called it "Erotic", both agree that it's "Pornographic."
In a week where tragedy struck yet again in America, we took the high road and discussed Alex's sleeve disease, Ryan tells us what he thinks of actors named Chris, we get emotional about song lyrics and there's a moment when Alex admits that he "hates". Also as a bonus Nikolai makes a special appearance.
In a week where we made a triumphant comeback to the studio, we take the high road and update y'all on the fact nothing has changed in our lives, Ryan makes a sly mention of Star Wars news and the boys talk Zahn and Rockwell. Hey, did you know we still did a podcast...well we do...but we took the summer off! In a summer where everything changed for all of us, we took the high road to make a July 4th episode. We discuss Star Wars making the classic Hollywood mistake, how's Ice Cube feeling today and what movie would Ryan pick for the last moments of life. Some of the news is outdated but thank you for sticking with us!
On this Father's Day we take the high road and talk dads. A minisode for all of you...especially the daddies! We talk top daddies in film and what it really means to have that role on the screen. Happy Father's Day!!
