We enter into the holy week through this Palm Sunday meditation in the Cross of Christ.
Jesus gives us a challenging teaching: Mt 16:24-25: "Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." But what does it mean in practice? How can we live it out in our daily lives?
(Nauhoitettu 22.12.20.)
A meditation on our Christian vocation: the Gospel according to Luke chapter 5.
Jesus' call to conversion. We need to resist the spirit of the times.
We're called to become saints even when we are sinners. In this meditation we consider two aspects of holiness: God's power triumphing against temptations and trials, and God's love winning in spite of our sins.
Kiitollisuus on vallankumouksellista. Mietiskely kiitollisuudesta ja anteliaisuudesta pienessä ja suuressa.
Feast of John the Baptist is coming. Today, memorial of Saints John Fisher and Thomas More, we meditate on vocation, courage, humility, and martyrdom.
Meditating on the Eucharist on the feast and eight days' devotion to the real presence of Christ.
The Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life. What difference does it make?
Meditation before Pentecost. What is the Holy Spirit like? How does he act? Four consequences: holiness - going out - magnanimity - optimism.
