Brett & Dani are back to recap Survivor 46 episode 6. Moriah and Venus were front and center in this week's merge episode, with Moriah being the unfortunate victim of this week's tribal council. Brett & Dani compare Venus to one iconic Survivor and one iconic Big Brother player of yore.
Later, Brett talks about viewing 'The Social Network' and 'Panic Room' at a double feature this week and the interesting place a Facebook movie sits culturally in 2024. Danielle reviews the new Netflix film 'Scoop' & they close discussing the breakup of Isla Fischer & Sacha Baron Cohen, as well as Monday's solar eclipse that will sweep across North America.

Brett & Dani react to Wednesday's episode of Survivor & pour one out for early favorite Jem, who was sent home by a 4-2 vote. Brett laments his early winner pick leaving so early and must address the audience after being so blatantly wrong. SAD!
Later, Danielle chats about watching 'Wonka' over the week and the new Jake Gyllenhaal remake of 'Road House'. Brett raises a bit of news about 'Euphoria' season three and has some words about 'Unfrosted' the Pop-Tarts movie helmed by Jerry Seinfeld, whose trailer dropped earlier in the week.

Danielle & Brett are back to talk about the most recent episode of Survivor 46. It was sadly the end of the line for our king, Bhanu. Probably one of the worst Survivor players in recent memory, if not of all time, the fourth episode of this season ended in one of the least surprising evictions ever...so unsurprising Jeff didn't even do Bhanu the injustice of sending his tribemates to the voting booth. We say RIP to the man so in touch with his emotions he could never survive Survivor.
Later in the show, Danielle talks about the most recent season of Love Is Blind & Brett talks about how the new Ghostbusters film and the trailer for this year's Beetlejuice sequel are inducing hard franchise fatigue.

Brett & Dani discuss the third episode of #Survivor46, last weekend's Oscars telecast and more on this week's episode. Randen, who we described last week as a big "WHO?!" fully lived up to his promise by being the first medical evac of the season. Randen, we hardly knew ye.
Later in the show, they chat about last Sunday's Oscars broadcast in which old man Brett had a few notes, and Dani talks about her first-time viewings of The Zone of Interest & American Fiction this week.

Brett & Dani are back home (in your ears) for the holidays and kick things off looking back to Wednesday night's Survivor 45 finale, which saw Dee take home the grand prize in what we agree was ultimately a weak and forgettable season.
Big Brother Reindeer Games also ended this week with Nicole Franzel taking home the $100k prize and title of first BBRG champion. Now that she's won two variations of Big Brother, is it time to admit she's one of the show's greats?
Also on the pod, Dani finally watches Netflix's Maestro, Brett is big mad about a new Golden Globes category and for some reason, we dive into commedia dell'arte for about five minutes. As always, it's a weird one.

Dani & Brett are back with some rare Big Brother content this time of year, as Reindeer Games aired its first week and gets a surprising amount of praise! They chat about what contestants are their favorites, why Frankie is unstoppable, why the altered mini-series has a welcome place in our hearts & what things a normal season of Big Brother can take from the holiday special.
Later, they touch on the penultimate episode of Survivor 45, where Drew was sent home after acting confident all episode that he would make it very far in the season -- an surefire sign that he wouldn't make it past the episode's torch-snuffing.
Brett & Dani then dive into the new Netflix film, Leave the World Behind. Brett minces no words with his distain for the film.

Brett & Dani are back to look back at the last two weeks of Survivor 45. Dani, who was previously down on the season, has changed her mind, while Brett now is suddenly feeling bored with the whole endeavor.
They also talk about the recently announced cast for Big Brother: Reindeer Games, which includes nine returning houseguests, some good, some bad, and a partridge in a pear tree.
Closing out the podcast, they take listener Qs and talk about a number of December releases, such as May December, Maestro, Hypnotic and Dani reviews a 14-year-old holiday movie that may very well have never been seen before in human history.

It's been a long few weeks on Big Brother 25. Jared and Cameron have seemingly been around for weeks, despite both having been "evicted" at the last week! In a miraculous turn of events, one of them actually went home this week and the game progressed slightly closer to it's conclusion! Brett & Dani recap a week in BB25 that was boring, made very little progress & probably shouldn't have happened to begin with.
Meanwhile, Survivor 45 premiered with a messy, young & vibrant cast -- and with one of the more odd tribal councils we've ever seen. The Lulu tribe's Hannah Rose quit right before the vote on day 3 leading fans into an uproar about whether or not she should've been cast in the first place. Brett & Dani discuss Hannah's exit, Brandon's tough road ahead and whether Bruce should've returned this season.
Later in the episode, Brett talks about two movies he caught in theaters this week Barry Lyndon (1975) and The Creator (2023).
