Guess who's back back back, back again... Elie's back, tell your friend! Hey Kid! Welcome back (or welcome to) the Hey Kid podcast. Here for monthly tips, stories, and encouragement my younger self really needed to hear.
Today we're chatting intense energies, personal losses, and the need to set boundaries. If you are easily irked or angered this one is for you. Highlighting the importance of self-examination, questioning emotional reactions, and understanding their root causes. This episode aims to encourage you to embrace discomfort, find clarity in your emotions, and navigate the journey of personal growth and transformation.
Loneliness is causing you to make bad decisions. Stop reaching for something to fill the void. It's fucking you up, taking you off your true path. This episode is philosophical yet to the point. Want to more to dive into? Follow along on Instagram Check out the Letters from Beyond

For the multi-passionate dreamers who’ve ever felt boxed in by someone else’s version of success. In this episode, I’m sharing the real story of how I got into the coaching industry, why it didn’t work for me, and what it’s looked like to unhook from the pressure to do things the “right” way.We talk about:chasing purpose and burning out earlylearning what actually lights me up (hint: it’s not signature methods and structured offers)the power of sharing stories in real timeand the radical act of doing business in a way that works for youThis episode is part storytime, part love letter to your future self, the one who dares to question the path they’re on and who’s ready to live life on their own terms. I sat down with my friend Kate Maldjian for a heartfelt conversation about what happens when work becomes your whole identity and what it takes to reclaim your life from that. Kate opens up about her “worker bee phase,” when she was doing everything "right" but still feeling totally disconnected from herself. We talk about the moment her laptop broke (spoiler: it was a blessing), how nature helped her come back to her body, and why hobbies and community might just be the medicine so many of us need. In this solo episode, I get real about what emotional freedom actually looks like in day-to-day life. Spoiler alert: it’s not always pretty or graceful. Sometimes it looks like crying over toothpaste, raging into a pillow, or noticing that your stomach hurts when you’re pretending everything’s fine.I share my journey—from being the kid who got bullied at lunch to becoming the woman who can now move through anger without losing herself in it.We talk about:How to fully feel your emotions without letting them hijack your lifeWhat hyper-independence really steals from usWhy defining your values makes people-pleasing harder to fall back intoHow tools like Human Design and Gene Keys helped me stop making myself wrong for how I feelAnd yes… we absolutely talk about the toothpaste. If you’ve ever struggled to express your emotions, over-explained your feelings, or tried to hold it all together out of fear—you’ll feel seen in this one.Referenced in this episode:https://www.myhumandesign.com/http://instagram.com/elie.rogers
Today I sat down with my friend Samantha for a very honest conversation about what it really means to grow—and how messy, magical, and nonlinear that can be.We talk about intuition, evolving friendships, and the moments that make us question everything we thought we knew about ourselves and our relationships. We touch on the beauty and challenge of transitions and why our intuition may be leading us NOT to act on our feelings yet.We also explore the dance between ego and humility, why dreaming big feels scary and necessary, and what it looks like to meet yourself with love when you’re in the in-between.This one’s for you if you're craving grounded growth, connecting with your intuition, and permission to not have it all figured out.Mentioned in this episode:https://www.instagram.com/samantha.bove/https://samanthabove.com/retreatshttps://samanthabove.com/datelikeaqueenhttps://samanthabove.com/italy2025

We touched on the highs and lows of expression, what happens when burnout hits.We explored:Why connecting with your younger self can shift everythingWhat it means to feel safe in your body and your artThe birth and vision of Echo Dance Collective—and what’s coming nextThis episode is for anyone who's ever used creativity to survive, to connect, or to come alive again. Honor Your No

Honor Your No

2022-09-0326:22

It's time to honor your no. It's no one else's responsibility but your own to know when to say no.
I've had it with the Facebook posts so let's talk about it.
If you know me you know I love talking ins and outs of healthy, empowered, + nonviolent communication But it's not often we talk about what builds the foundation of good communication.  The inner work, the relationship you have with yourself.  If you are not your own best friend + inner confidant, what ground are you standing on when connecting + communication.  Probably a pretty unstable one.  This episode we talk about the importance of knowing yourself and how to start building this foundation of yourself.
Wow, what a ride emotionally... Honoring the fuck out of my intuition has been one of the most rewarding paths I have ever taken. It's not always easy, I don't always do it "right" but it's damn worth it.  If you're ready for a compassionate, challenging, supportive, judgment-free arena where you can be witnessed in your struggles and pain yet heald to your highest in love - you're welcome to join Field Space. https://elierogers.ac-page.com/field-space Our first call will be this Saturday, January 29th @ 10:30 am MST As always, message me on IG @elie.rogers if you have any questions or topics you'd love to hear discussed.
