Having recently read several of Ali Hazelwood's STEM romance series, and just now watching the adaptation of The Love Hypothesis, this pod presents a review of each. It's understood that a movie will never be able to fully capture the nuances and detail provided in a 300+ page book, so the goal here is to critique the film as a stand alone work before comparing it to the book's plotlines. Those comparisons can be subjective, but specific choices did alter the book in a way that fundamentally changed the characters. Whether those changes were good, bad, or inconsequential is up for debate. Then, a quick synopsis and review of two more books I read, Love on the Brain, and Not In Love. While several elements remain constant throughout Ali Hazelwood's books, each one presents different scenarios and struggles that her lovable characters must overcome in order to find happiness. Twenty five years later, we're still learning more about what happened on 9/11 and the weeks after.
