High School Student Chinese Competition

The seventh annual US High School Student Chinese Speech Contest sponsored by Hanban and the Confucius Institute at UMass Boston. Contestants traveled from Hawaii, California, Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey, Georgia, Maryland, New York and New England to compete in three categories: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Chinese. They shared why they like Chinese language and culture.
