I'm not sure I'd lump my Electra Glide, with its massive wind protection via upper and lower fairings, and rear air shocks, in with cruisers. It's just as comfortable as any Goldwing I've ridden long distances. I've owned a Vulcan 900 touring, a classic Concourse, an 84 and 91 Goldwing, a Versys 300, Z900RS, and a Street 750. The Electra Glide is far more comfortable than all of those, and it's even better with a Saddleman Seat. That being said, Street Glides do indeed ride like hot dog shit. As do most Harleys. Wonderful motors, electronic bells and whistles, fit & finish. Terrible execution for the most part.
On a scale of 1 to Yammie Noob Yamcast this podcast is a solid 9. I've been looking for a great podcast like this for a while. Definitely worth a listen to for motorcycle enthusiasts.
This was a fun podcast. I think we can all relate to stories like these. And then there was Joe. Just kidding love Joe. You answered a question about tires for cold weather. I believe my fellow Canadian was asking if there were tires that were better for cold weather, not necessarily snow and ice. up here we need winter tires once the temperatures go below seven degrees Celsius. Are there any tires that are better in cold but dry weather?
I felt that after Lemmy departure the show was going to be tame, but Zack Court has spiced things up! Cheers from the Australia mate!
in the Final episode of season 2 you tried to answer what tech could help people getting a bike. I think having a Gear indicator is one, because modern bikes have 6 gears nowadays, it is not always easy to remember what Gear you are in. also in some countries it is now legal to ride a 11kw/125cc bike on a car licesence, wich helps.
why don't you have a favorite bike with unlimited money to go long distance, across country and back, with
I like that Ari guy. He is my brother.
love the show guys, very informative and enjoy your differing viewpoints.
