Here during the holidays we certainly see materialism and commercialism at a heightened level. But this can easily lead to a trap or prison that’s hard to get out of, if we’re not careful. Today on His Perfect Love we’ll look ahead to a time when Babylon will fall, both the religious and commercial systems. But Revelation chapter eighteen also has something important to say to us in the present about the dangers of materialism.

We’re developing our Bible Prophecy series and today we’ll finish up Matthew chapter 24. Very soon we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas, and there are signs we look for that tell us it is near, like decorations, lights all over town and the growing lines at the Mall. There are also signs we should be aware of that tell us we are living in the last days before the return of Christ. Do you know what they are?
