Description

On History Daily, we do history, daily. Every weekday, host Lindsay Graham (American Scandal, American History Tellers) takes you back in time to explore a momentous event that happened ‘on this day’ in history. Whether it’s to remember the tragedy of December 7th, 1941, the day “that will live in infamy,” or to celebrate that 20th day in July, 1969, when mankind reached the moon, History Daily is there to tell you the true stories of the people and events that shaped our world—one day at a time. So if you’re stuck in traffic, bored at work—wherever you are, listen to History Daily to remind yourself that something incredible happened to make that day historic.

no, I would not go listen to this podcast, the art of crime. the narrators voice is monotone, tedious, and exhausting.

Yet again this podcast has a firm misunderstanding of true federalism. Also Calhoun was pro union, he never "laid the groundwork for secession". At Ft. Sumter the union repeatedly kept resupplying the fort, which was seen as a sign of aggression by the seceded SC and even Lincolns cabinet told him to stop resupplying. The shelling was clearly meant for the union forces to vacate not start a civil war. the civil war actually began when Lincoln illegally sent troops to invade the south

not once was 1953 mentioned in this podcast. I get it's hard to cram in the history in 15 minutes, but this episode isnt telling the whole story.

This is an extremely rosey and probably misleading and inaccurate portrayal of Peron, Eva, and Peronism.

It's so sad that some people don't recognize that humans are being killed by this process.

Seems like this is soft-peddling things and being too easy on Ted Kennedy. My understanding is that Mary Jo Kopechne didn't die from the accident itself or even from drowning...at least not straight off. There was a pocket of air she could use that became exhausted. She was probably under there for some time before she died, but no help came.
