With so much money and power, royals were able to invent some pretty unique and creative ways to slay their enemies, or accidentally seal their own doom. From a Chinese Emperor’s deadly elixir of life to a steamy Roman romance that got a little too scalding hot. From a court jester so hilarious he made a Spanish king litrally die laughing, to a Swedish King’s massive last meal of caviar, champagne and cream puffs. Let’s dig up 10 truly bizarre royal deaths.

Dieting is bogus. The key to maintaining a healthy weight is physical activity. Your body will tell you what it needs, if you listen to it.
I had an endometrial ablation in 2015 to remove my uterine lining, which rendered me infertile, eliminating the need for birth control AND completely eliminating monthly periods - BEST thing I've ever done in my life (after getting divorced lol). Periods suck 😝 Long live freedom!
"Natural childbirth" is potentially a very dangerous concept: It raises unrealistic expectations, since a "drug free" delivery is not always possible; it puts laboring mothers into dangerous situations by encouraging them to delay pain relief when it is needed, which leads to poor decision making and can cause (sometimes lifelong) complications.
A very prescient subject, thank you! Like sex, childbirth is a beautiful thing when desired, but when forced on someone against their will is violent and ruinous.
Long time YouTube watcher, now really enjoying your podcast too! Keep up the great work!
