Today we join the cool kids and check out the Indiana State Sanatorium!
One of the newer locations to be found to be quite rife with paranormal weirdness, this location spans quite a bit of acreage with several buildings and creepy steam tunnels for you to check out!
A poltergeisty laundry room, a spirit that loves to run up and down stairs, and a very crabby man in the biggest building on the property is what you'll likely find here.
We love a good location that puts money back into the building's care, and the chance to really uncover new paranormal activity really can't be beat!

Widely considered one of the finest 14th century castles in Scotland, Balgonie Castle is also considered to be one of the most haunted locations in the U.K. as well!
What with a skeleton found under the floor in 1912, and about 600 years of fighting prior to that, it's really no wonder! Join us in meeting Green Jeannie, a boisterous pup, and floating heads. Hahahaha!
But really.
In sad news, Carrie dashes Laura's hopes of them buying Balgonie House. Also in Scotland, but not the subject of today's show.

The lesson here is don't drive through the Arizona desert at night. Ever.
We are back!! And we have missed you all so much!
We kick off our new format of SEASONS with one of the most famous locations in America - Bobby Mackey's Music World.
Starting as a slaughterhouse and spanning many incarnations since then this location has a portal to hell - maybe with a head in it, maybe not, we sure don't know - a warning sign that they are not responsible for any ghost beat downs you may receive, and some of the best country music west of Las Vegas! Wait, what?

Welcome back guys!! We have missed you!
This week we cover THE most famous cryptid ever - Bigfoot. Who he is, where he hails from, is he real, is he just a hallucination from the marijuana field in Humboldt - we break it all down! We also have decided he should heretofore be called "Blobsquatch." Pass it on.
We also make an announcement about the future of the show! One that we are very happy, grateful and excited about!

Seriously, we totally warned you.
**Due to Carrie's work schedule, she wasn't able to make it to recording for this week, so we are re-releasing one of our most popular episodes - "Ufology with Andrea Perron!"
This week we sit down and discuss all the things with the lovely Andrea Perron!
Known for growing up in what came to be known as The Conjuring House, there is so much more to her than what is easily Googled.
Come join us as we discuss The Conjuring, Ufology, current events, and what she's working on now!
Sources used in this week's episode are... well, Andrea Perron!
Carrie's got the bad and the weird this week guys and it is way more bad than weird.
Grab a double espresso and white knuckle it with us through this story of the man whom Russia called "The Lord of the Mummies."
Have the week you'll have!
Let's go to Romania and it's infamously haunted Hoia Baciu Forest! With sightings of UFOs, ghosts, and having over 1,000 mysteriously disappear here - this place is no joke.
What is the real truth going on here, and would you partake in some of the pretty cool, but kinda risky events they have to offer?
We say no.

Happy 4th anniversary History of a Haunting!!
This special celebration episode is dedicated to our amazing friend, and long time supporter - Libby Lanier! Sorry Libby that it's such an awful story, but hey - you asked for it. 3 years ago. Shut up, we got to it!
From boats just catching on fire, to catfish that can drive Volkswagens, or are the size of them, or something... to bodies that are just THERE under the water, to the ENTIRE town that lies beneath it, Lake Lanier is not great.
Special thanks to both of our families, Erin Bush, Jennifer, ekb*, all of our guests over the years, and every single listener. We love you all and are so grateful to all of you for making this podcast what it has become.
And from Carrie - last but never least, thank you to Archie Bays, without whom this podcast road, would have been so much less beautiful without. HoaH will always be your legacy and we are grateful you helped found it, grow it, and bring laughter to all of us.

This week Laura tells us of one of the most infamous murderers in the world - Elizabeth Bathory.
Believed to have killed her virginal servants to bathe in their blood to retain her youth, she is believed to have a body count of over 600.
Have the week you'll have. Excuse us while we go barf.
Come along to England and the site of one of the most bananas poltergeist stories we have ever heard.
From items materializing out of thin air, to threatening text messages sent to landlines, to one man surviving physical attack after physical attack - the South Shields Poltergeist WILD.
This episode is brought to you by the word: psychical.
