It is an essential primer on the foundations of the current USA-Cuba foreign relations, and it is a great way to learn and/or refresh one's knowledge of both US and Cuban history. Ramos does a great job of bringing facts and sources to a controversial subject that all too often is approached like a political game of free-association.
