"Waffle House knows their lane. They have figured out what they are doing. Diners have chapter books for menus. You mean to tell me that you have a turkey dinner, a lobster bisque, but also disco fries? What is happening here?” - Dulcé Sloan “So when I see that chapter book laid out in front of me, I'm like, "Wow, I really have options in life. Am I going to get pasta with a burger? Maybe. I'm crazy like that. I can get wild like that because I'm at a diner right now. I'm not limited to the limited thinking of a Waffle House.” - Josh Johnson We’re revisiting diners vs. waffle houses this week on Hold Up with Daily Show correspondent Dulcé Sloan and writer Josh Johnson. #DailyShow #HoldUp #Podcast Click here for Dulcé’s tour dates: https://www.dulcesloan.com/tour Click here for Josh’s tour dates: https://www.joshjohnsoncomedy.com/tourSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
“Sarcasm cannot be conveyed over a text. The number of times I've gotten into it with somebody, because I was being sarcastic and they thought they were being attacked.” - Dulcé Sloan “Emojis are what have brought context back to text. If you can text me something and then end it with a little yellow dude with his eyes rolling back of his head, I'm like, "Oh, okay. For a second I thought you were coming for me. Now I'm realizing, we're on the same page."- Josh Johnson It’s texting vs. calling, this week on Hold Up with Daily Show correspondent Dulcé Sloan and writer Josh Johnson. #DailyShow #HoldUp #Podcast Click here for Dulcé’s tour dates: https://www.dulcesloan.com/tour Click here for Josh’s tour dates: https://www.joshjohnsoncomedy.com/tourSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

I miss this show...
Dulce and Josh out here just unknowingly stumbling into a plot point of the movie Idiocracy 🤣
Josh, you are crazy. Subway added toasting long after Quiznos started cutting in to their market share.
Duelce. You know why you’re always hot
Sparkling water didn’t hydrate you?? lol. Insane
a whole section repeats itself
Oh my gosh, this episode was hilarious! It made for a good conversation piece between my 14 year old daughter and I also. We are both all for waffles all day! So much so that the other day when I brought home buttermilk pancake mix she took it upon herself to totally mark out pancake and put waffle instead🤣 Her and her friends have discussions similar to this just about every day at lunch! the first time she heard your podcast she said this sounds like lunch! everyday we talk about something like this. one of the ones that she was seriously outnumbered on was sugar cereals versus plain cereals. just about everybody at her table like the plain cereals. But not her, she's like "nope give me the fruity pebbles"!
you know your fat ass definitely mixed some peanut butter in there
Team Josh
There is truth to the bike bar comments for boys vs girls! 🤣
the cart pumps it to you because you're as big as two people
opening the windows while taking off and landing is the law genius
it's so obvious that the producers told D to calm down. A podcast with a gigantic angry, white hating woman aint going anywhere. we'll see you at the end of your season that won't be renewed. why Trevor or the rest of the crew ever endorsed this I'll never know LOL
you thought they stuck a tube in your vein instead of a needle? can we get Roy back you guys are mentally retarded
can other people say negro on your show?
so many executives with grills. let's make some.... hmmmm
D... you're hilarious. but you've got to step off the victim because I'm fat stage. calories in, calories out. pointing out that being that fat isn't healthy is only offensive like it is too a smoker who doesn't want to stop. you're not helping the black victim narrative arguing that you're victimized because you can't stop eating
