The Hollywood Gatekeepers Podcast has returned! We first started this podcast to talk about the process of reading scripts in Hollywood. To share what it is like to be a Hollywood Gatekeeper. For decades, production companies have hired readers to review screenplays and write coverage so they can decide what projects to do next. It's been my pleasure to teach thousands of people how to read, analyze, and write screenplays.  As we return from hiatus, analyzing stories is still our foundation. But you may have noticed that the world is going through a bit of a shift. What an understatement, right? Well, this shift has prompted me to become a certified and licensed life coach. So now we can analyze stories on the page as well as in our minds! What does coaching have to do with reading and analyzing scripts? Everything. The world is changing. The industry is changing. AI is here to stay, and it's influencing the process of getting a script to the screen in huge and unexpected ways.  Human connection is more important than ever. And one thing remains the same. Story. The story will always matter. Story is king. Your ability to analyze a story…is everything.  I will use this podcast to share news from the front lines in the industry.
