OK people, if my numbers don't start improving I'm going to keep singing and I don't think anybody wants that!
This song has been playing in my head for years, now it's got a baseline recording.
One of these days I will have an open mic on a perfect take for this one. There are a couple of places where you can hear me start to lose it but recover and maintain the time. Go ahead, try it on an acoustic guitar and tell me how it works out! Added some panning and bounce to give it the crazy effect.
A blues in A, followed by Pigs on the Wing and Love is a Rose. Acoustic guitar only and not much editing, just tossing it out there. The drop at the end is electronic, in the upload I think, because it's not in my original recording. Looks like I lost about 30 seconds of Love is a Rose. Oh well, it's not like it's going on a CD.
Recorded a practice session. There are some 'clips' caused by a dying battery in my acoustic pickup. Wasn't a serious session, just horsing around on a Sunday afternoon and decided to plug in, so there are some mistakes on the areas I need to work on the most. Still, a few pretty good riffs in here that I've been spending more time with.
Hopefully this will correct the huge glitches caused by podomatics recent change, which corrupted the previous version.
The real purpose of this one was to demonstrate the bass guitar, but I kind of like the leads too. No effects, just Strat and Marshall amp. Well, I did add a bit of echo on the fast riff in the lead, but it's minimal. Sounds OK on cheap computer speakers, but if you run it through a sound system you'll probably want to turn the bass way down,
CC and snicker requested that I remove the drum track, so here it is, no drums. I will admit, the drums have not been up to snuff.
Just something I was fooling around with. No effects, just the acoustic guitar.
