Hi ladies, I'm really sorry that someone said to you that "You're not a real homesteader". It's obviously not true and was no doubt said carelessly by someone. I have to disagree with you though on the "I've been really busy" being a blanket statement for "I'm in demand" etc. I have both ASD and ADHD which comes with executive functioning disabilities. Time management is a major issue for many people because of these neurological developmental conditions. Hoping that Christy's advice will help.

What lies beneath part i & ii have been some of my most favourite episodes. I can't tell you how helpful these episodes have been. I've been struggling with my health for nearly 2 years now. Shaye, I absolutely love your idea of the gut health podcast. Angela, I've loved the fact that you're asking questions about perimenopause. That's where I am right now. All the questions were spot on and so helpful. I'd love to know if it is good for our guts to eat blue cheeses etc.

Loved this! I'm with you Shaye. bare feet on cool grass in summer. I have to say though I hate it if I'm bare feet in the kitchen trying to keep my feet cool and there are bits on the floor that get under my feet. I have sensory issues so the floor needs to be clear of crumbs or the house shoes must be on. I'm currently binge listening to your podcast ladies to catch up. I've been out of it all spring but was missing your podcasts and vids.

Fantastic podcast. As a gardening enthusiast, this is one of my favourite episodes. The quintessential cottage garden is the most relaxed of gardens as well as being one that is a pleasure to work in. There's such a vast variety of plants that the cottage gardener can include in their garden and you ladies hit the nail on the head with all that mentioned. Others would be lupins, nemesia, violas etc. So sorry to hear about your rose dilemma Shaye. I was so relieved for you that most came back.

Love this. Couldn't agree more about all the things that make a home feel like a home and I say every home should have a cat. πŸ₯°

Random, but I was putting on deodorant at the exact moment Angela said "Are you putting on deodorant?"...freaked me out a little.

i've been there done that and got the tshirt. But the bit nobody tells you is that when they're grown snd in their 20s, you're still sloshing around in those trenches, they're just different trenches πŸ˜²πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜ . You gorgeous girls bring joy to my week. Thankyou Megan from Australia. xx

I am totally NOT the same kind of girl as these two, but I desperately want to be! I'm so glad to have found this podcast. Fun, wholesome, but not at all pretentious. πŸ’•

Absolutely love this. I'm a full time working mom, sitting at a computer all day while the 3 kids are at school. I'm going to live vicariously through you until I can afford to stay home. Hubby and I are sowly making the adjustments where we can. We live in the country, with a few chickens, rabbits and Dutch ovens. I love how you guys simplify life at its best. I have new goals to obtain. Looking forward to more listening and feeling less weird.
