Heritage Christian School is a Private Satellite Program (PSP) in the state of California established in 1984. We serve as an umbrella school for private Christian homeschool families. This podcast offers support and information on the various areas of homeschooling including curriculum, socialization, academics, college bound preparation, co-op classes, and so much more.

This week's podcast episode features an interview with HCS member Heather Jensen regarding AP testing and other preparations for homeschooled college-bound students.Summary of the five steps in registering for an AP test as explained in this episode.Step 1 Decide which AP exam or exams you want. You’ll want to look at the list of 38 exams on the AP section of the College Board website.Step 2 Find a school that is offering the specific subject test that you want. This means finding a public or private school that is offering an AP course in your subject. If they offer that course, then they will offer that test.Step 3 Get permission from the AP coordinator to let your student test with their school.Step 4 Pay the fee.Step 5 Get a Join Code from the AP coordinator and plug it in online.
