Episode 93: Hurricane Season

August in Louisiana can mean a lot of things to different people, but something we probably all agree on is it definitely means hurricane season. Hurricane Ida just hit southeast Louisiana, and more storms are brewing in the Gulf. So we thought it important to share tips about preparing for and facing what comes this season. In this episode you'll hear: << tips about what to do as a hurricane is approaching: freeze water bottles, charge your phones, pick up outdoor furniture and toys; << reminders for during the hurricane, if you're riding it out: don't play with the flashlights, turn off the A/C; << what to do after the storm passes: document any damage by taking photos, have board games and UNO at the ready, do not drive through flooding.
