In the second episode of Honestly Speaking, I open up about the realities of being an introvert in an extroverted world—and why, honestly, I’m completely okay with it. I talk about my personal struggles with social settings and feeling completely out of place. In this episode, I’m setting the record straight and sharing what being an introvert truly means to me.. If you're curious about the part social media plays in this, I also open up about how it has become an important part in my journey of self-confidence. Although the influencer career is usually seen as a medium for extroverts to shine, platforms like Instagram and Twitter have given me the incredible opportunity for me to express myself, and introverts like me. Whether you’re an introvert, extrovert, or somewhere in between, this episode will make you feel a little less alone. Enjoy! I have a confession. This has taken me three full tries of filming and editing. I wanted my first episode to be *insane*, with a crazy story time so I can launch with a lot of noise, but for some reason nothing felt like than launching a podcast by moving on. (It'll make sense the more you listen to it, I promise.) In my inaugural episode, I talk about moments I thought I would never get over, how I've started showing up as the highest version of myself, the importance of delayed gratification and the technique I use for long-term success. A little bit of everything. Tune in and enjoy! Don't forget to download 'How To Win Friends and Influence People' for the next episode, where I open about my struggles of being an introvert in an industry where I definitely shouldn't be.
