Rob Summers - Cleveland State University Men's Basketball Head Coach - Episode 1178

Rob Summers is in his first season as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Cleveland State University. An Ohio native, Summers spent 2019-2022 with Cleveland State as an assistant coach, where he helped CSU win the Horizon League and make its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2009. CSU advanced to the postseason twice during his first stint with the Vikings. Most recently, Summers joined former Cleveland State head coach Dennis Gates' staff at the University of Missouri for the 2024-25 season, where he served as the team's offensive coordinator. Prior to joining the Tigers, Summers spent two seasons at Miami (Ohio) as associate head coach, where he helped the program achieve its highest Mid-American Conference finish in 10 seasons. Summers also served as an assistant coach at James Madison, three years as the head coach of Division II Urbana (Ohio) and two years at Glenville State as associate head coach. As a player, Summers played two seasons at Penn State before transferring to West Virginia, where he helped WVU reach the sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament as a junior and win a NIT Championship as a senior. He played professionally in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Chris Capko - Southern Methodist University Men's Basketball Associate Head Coach - Episode 1175

Chris Capko is the Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach at Southern Methodist University where the Mustangs went 24-11 and earned a No.1 seed in the NIT in their first season under Head Coach Andy Enfield. Capko has 18 years of college coaching experience and has helped lead two different programs to post season play while also developing 11 NBA players.Prior to SMU, Capko helped USC to a 176-93 record in eight seasons from 2016 – 2024 as an assistant or associate head coach including and Elite Eight trip in 2021. Capko, who served as USC Director of Operations during the 2013-15 seasons, returned to the Trojans after spending the 2015-16 season as an assistant coach at Florida International University (FIU). Capko also spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Georgia Southern (2011-13) and at Stetson University (2009-11). Prior to his stint at Stetson, Capko served as a graduate assistant at Marshall University.As a student-athlete, Capko spent his first semester in the basketball program at the University of Florida under head coach Billy Donovan, before transferring to the University of South Florida in Tampa where he played for three years. As a junior, he was fifth in the Big East in assists and as a senior he was the Bulls’ team captain. Capko earned Academic All-Big East honors as a junior and senior at USF. John Reynolds - Wando (SC) High School Boys' Basketball Head Coach - Episode 1172

John Reynolds is entering his first season as the Boys’ Basketball Head Coach at Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. He previously served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, The Citadel, from 2022 -2025 under his college coach Ed Conroy. Reynolds served on the staff at University of South Carolina from 2017-22, closing out his tenure as Special Assistant to head coach Frank Martin and overseeing on-campus recruiting. Prior to that he was an assistant coach at Presbyterian College for four seasons under longtime Blue Hose head coach Gregg Nibert. He served as interim head coach upon Nibert’s retirement in the spring of 2017. Reynolds started his coaching career in Mississippi at NCAA Division II Delta State for two seasons as an assistant coach.Reynolds was a four-year letterwinner at The Citadel from 2007-11 as a member of one of the winningest classes in school history. The Bulldogs gathered 52 wins in that four-year span, including the program’s last 20-win season in 2008-09 while securing a postseason bid to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament. Reynolds was named Scout Team Player of the Year twice and was a three-time Southern Conference (SoCon) All-Academic Team selection. Jason Harris - UMass Boston Men's Basketball Head Coach - Episode 1171

Jason Harris is entering his tenth season as the Men’s Basketball Head Coach at UMass Boston. Just the second full-time coach in program history, Harris has led the Beacons to more than 100 wins during his 9 seasons. He also serves as an assistant coach for We Are D3 in the TBT.He has been active within the UMass Boston Athletics community in leading the fight for social justice, diversity and inclusion. In the summer of 2021, Harris founded the Student-Athletes of Color organization to give student-athletes of all backgrounds an inclusive space to talk about their experiences and learn from past student-athletes. Prior to UMass Boston, Harris served as the top assistant at Long Island University from 2010-15. He entered the coaching profession as an assistant coach at Plymouth State University where he also had the opportunity to lead the program as the interim head coach for the Panthers during the 2007-08 season. Jason played his college basketball at Rhode Island College. A three-time captain for the Anchormen, Harris led RIC to the program’s first regular season Little East Conference Championship in 2005. Ben Wilkins - Seton Hill University Men's Basketball Head Coach - Episode 1169

Ben Wilkins is entering his fourth season as the Men’s Basketball Head Coach at D2 Seton Hill University. Under Wilkins, the Griffins have posted three consecutive 16-win seasons, tying the most wins in the program’s NCAA Division II era. The program also notched its first-ever Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament win (over Edinboro in 2025), tied the school record for road wins, and beat two nationally ranked teams—just the second and third such wins in school history.Prior to Seton Hill, was the Associate Head Coach at Army West Point, where he helped guide the most successful four-year stretch at the academy since Mike Krzyzewski. Patrick McGrail - Washington University Men's Basketball Assistant Coach - Episode 1168

Patrick McGrail is in his second season as a Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. McGrail joined WashU after holding the positions of assistant coach and most recently associate head coach at Rhodes College from 2018-2024. That was his second stint at Rhodes, as he was an assistant coach for two years from 2013-15 as well.Between his stints at Rhodes, McGrail served as the Athletic Coordinator at his alma mater of Fenwick High School in northern Illinois and was the assistant varsity basketball coach, helping to guide the team to the 2017 state championship game.McGrail played his college basketball at Rhode where he was the 2013-2014 Southern Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year and finished his career in the SAA record books with a top 3-point percentage of 47.8.On this episode Mike and Patrick discuss the importance of adaptability and continuous learning in coaching. Mike Koehler is the Boys’ Basketball Varsity Head Coach at Elkhart Lake High School in Wisconsin. Daniel Harris - Davis & Elkins College Men's Basketball Head Coach - Episode 1162

Daniel Harris is entering his second season as the head men’s basketball coach at Davis & Elkins College and his fourth overall with the program in 2025–26. He guided the program to its fourth consecutive Mountain East Conference Tournament appearance, where D&E earned a 63-61 first-round victory over ninth-seeded Wheeling. Prior to Davis & Elkins, Harris served as director of basketball operations under Head Coach Lennie Acuff at Lipscomb University for two seasons. He also served as a graduate assistant at Jacksonville University. Harris gained additional experience as a recruiting coordinator with Hoop Group in Reading, Pennsylvania.As a player, Harris began his collegiate career at Hillsborough Community College, where he was team captain, team MVP, and recipient of the Coach’s Award. He then transferred to Division I Quinnipiac University, where he started 50 games, shot over 40 percent from three-point range, and earned team MVP honors as a junior. He was a team captain as a senior and a nominee for the NABC Allstate Good Works Team. Weston Jameson - Harding University Men's Basketball Head Coach - Episode 1161

Weston Jameson is the Men’s Basketball Head Coach at D2 Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. In just his second year at the helm in 2024-25 he led the Bison to a 22-10 record and the NCAA Tournament after winning the Great American Conference Tournament. Prior to taking over the men’s program at Harding, Jameson was an assistant coach for the women’s basketball programs at Abilene Christian University (2021-2023), Arkansas State University (2020-2021) and Harding (2015-2020).Before his first stint at Harding, Jameson worked as the junior boys head coach and senior boys assistant coach at Central Arkansas Christian School in North Little Rock in 2014-15.Jameson was a three-year starter and four-year letter winner at point guard for the Harding men's basketball team from 2010-14. He had 474 assists in his time as a Bison, fourth on Harding's career list, and helped lead the Bisons to the 2014 Great American Conference Tournament championship. Chris Richardson - Wheeling University Men's Basketball Head Coach - Episode 1159

Chris Richardson is entering his 6th season as the Men's Basketball Head Coach at Wheeling University in the 2025-2026 season. During his career he has been a part of five 20-win seasons, two conference championships, three NCAA tournament appearances and one conference tournament championship. Richardson has coached 22 all-conference players and three All-Americans.Richardson previously spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Central Missouri, two seasons as an assistant at Delta State, and one season as an assistant at both Fairmont State and University of Charleston.
