Tebra a.k.a. Milojko Jaric was born on the 7th of June, 1985. The idea for the Tebra project came after years of producing different electronic music genres. Soon after starts the big and active work on music making and production inspired by Balkan ethnic music and world music in general. Many tracks are compiled, production gets better and better and after a couple of years of hard work he finally finds the sound that will become his main occupation in the upcoming period. In the autumn of 2017 Ritual records released two Tebra tracks as part of his first E.P. named “Suton”. That release gathered the attention of wide audience and soon after another track (Istok) got released under 8Cell Records (sub label of Tesseract Studio) After the initial releases, Tebra`s music got increasingly exposed, many offers from the various record labels and invitations for Live Set and DJ performances started to follow.

The New Yorker/Berlin based Curses is known for blending his Rock & Roll roots with the darker side of disco and electro. In both his DJ and live sets. Curses incorporate his ghostly vocals and guitar with flashes of EBM, New Wave, Post-Punk, and psychedelic synth vibes. Releasing selectively on well respected underground labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Throne of Blood, Ombra INTL. and Relish, Curses also runs a Rinse France monthly radio residency showcasing artists who share a love for mixing wave and weird disco. art:cast special by Rey&Kjavik One might not expect that multi-talented artist Rey&Kjavik is originally from the Rhine-Main-area hence his chosen DJ- and producer-moniker and also because of his eclectic musical approach. But matter of fact Rey&Kjavik is one of the few artists that represents the once so blooming region in the middle of Germany, whilst 'blooming' is to be understood in regards to the current development in the electronic music scene its subcultural life in the Rhine-Main-area. Unfazed by the aforementioned the artist just released his second long-player, 'Mountiri', on his own label RKJVK, which depicts two topics the artist wants to emphasize: a holistic musical approach combined with cultural diversity - just like Rey&Kjavik's hometown, just like Rey&Kjavik's life as a touring DJ. The next instalment in the Alfresco podcast series comes from NYC born and Berlin based DJ and producer Curses. As the head honcho of the Ombra International label and resident at the debauched Pornceptual parties out of Berlin, this guy is releasing and playing some of the most cutting edge sounds as you can hear in this mix, which combines all sorts of dark, light, cold and warmth out of the left field. The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. Dear friends, After a long time of hibernation it is time to reappear on the surface of the internet, I guess. As many of you have been asking, I made a recording that continues the story of my „Travel Diary“, which started over two years ago. So I am very happy to finally share „Travel Diary Part 2“ with you today! It consists of tracks I produced over the course of this time, but never released or even used them for live playing. So now I am taking the opportunity to let them „out of the box“. I really hope you enjoy it and to catch some of you at one of my upcoming summer shows! Also I wanna take the chance to thank you all so much for your support over the past year, even though I had no musical output! It reminds me of the famous words by the poet Hafez, who said: - Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth “you owe me“. Look what happens with a love like that. One of the biggest perks of producing a Robot Heart sunrise is that you can take risks; explore soundscapes and dynamics, knowing that the mystical Deep Playa setting allows for pauses and quiet moments that don’t translate in loud clubs or multi-stage festivals. This year, the set was a journey starting with robots and ending with humans. I wanted the sun to come up to the sound of arguing AI robots. What you heard was a transcript from the actual negotiation between two AI bots at Facebook earlier that summer; thenextweb.com/artificial-intell…its-own-language/ Other than it creating a surreal environment as the sun came up, it also proved a perfect palette cleanser to transition from night into day. The sounds of flutist Claire Chase immediately afterwards set the tone for the 90 minutes to follow. I remembered Robert Miles (we lost him this year) with a beautiful guitar version of his song "Children", and then introduced spiritual emcee and rising star Elliott LaRue. He delivered a chilling live message from the top of the bus about our challenges and responsibilities as humans. And that about summed up the Scumfrog sunrise from 2017.
